Why the meltdowns should stop

Some may see it as trashy but it's definitely NOT cheap. It has very high production values, which you can't say about this new one.

The video has actually gotten warm reviews by critics so far, who are associating the video as Britney's own Magic Mike moment. But like you said, Im waiting on a flawless album.

The meltdowns usually piss me off but this time I think it's warranted. It's not like it's the first time her team has done this and I've had enough. I don't want the song to flop but it's too late now, the video is going to kill it. They usually get away with it, but I don't think they will be able to this time. And so I hope her team see the amount of dislikes and backlash on the video and perhaps wake and realize they can't keep pulling this shit and work harder on single #2.

 

In any case, I'm still bopping to Private Show and excited about the album.

I took a break from universe too and today has only showed me that I likely will not be returning. I like the video for what it is, the meltdowns are more embarrassing than the video tbh, and I can't wait to see what Britney has for us next.

I actually like Private Show a bit more than Make Me. But overall, critics are actually sounding more impressed with Britney's efforts so far than the fans are.

Im actually excited for this era. I understand its not the video everyone wanted but hey theres so much more to be excited about. This one video can't take the joy I have for her new music away

I agree! I think it is very different from what we expected and that's what she's been saying. I think the video is very cute and it shows a lot of her personality which is why we love her... That's why America loves her. Maybe she didn't want a sex scene & her nipples in the lead single music video because she's spent so long cleaning up her career. I understand that she is probably trying to hard to deal with the conservatorship and she's still trying to prove to people that she's not crazy and she has her life together and she's a good mom because the second she loses that, the paparazzi and media will eat her alive and we don't know how she would handle that. Maybe it was her team's decision and Britney wanted to do it, maybe her team was pushing her to do it but Britney realized it's not what she wanted. WE DONT KNOW. Yes the video seems rushed, because it was! It wasn't the greatest move but maybe it was for the best. We should just accept it & move on. Maybe there is something exciting in store... Maybe she will make it up to us by delivering a flawless album & other great music videos with lots of cool new singles. Let's watch the video and support the song, because the song is classic! It's a great song!

Exactly, I understand that people are disappointed and they have the right to express their opinion, but to be so destructive and over the top is just too much. I come into this forum to have a good time and to entertain myself and to see the whooooooole front page full of negative threads with people acting as if Britney caused the apocalypse because she released a music video that doesn't reach their expectations is so stressfull.
