To the Britney Army and Britney-Galaxy readers:

Britney-Galaxy has always been and will always be a haven of sorts for Britney news and positivity for fans across the globe. With that being said, we see all of you crying out about this current  and decisions regarding the “Make Me”music video.

The Make Me music video isn’t what was originally shot. We see you. We hear you. We understand. You feel like you can do more. You feel like a giant facepalm moment. You’re sad, angry, pissed and emotional.

We get it. But you have to stay POSITIVE!!

Britney Spears is our HERO. She is our champion and reaches a multitude of facets of our emotions and lives. She touches on different layers of who we are. She is our girlfriend/wife of almost 20 years for the oldest fans. She has made history, overcome criticisms and is a pop music legend and pop culture icon. She is a living legend amongst lessers. She IS pop.

Don’t get discouraged. The Glory era is just beginning and the music and promotion are just beginning. Britney has said this album is her baby and you can tell she has put her heart and soul into this album! She has worked SO hard on this album and truly is delivering for this era. Britney is happy, healthy, motivated and truly ALIVE for this time in her life and career. Try to match her in those aspects!

Let Britney and her team do their things respectively. It’ll all work out; it always DOES. We have come through so much as a fanbase and as friends and as an ARMY! Don’t quit now! It’s okay to be upset and have a difference of opinions but be respectful of Britney and her team and the decisions she/they make in regards to her career.

We hear you.
We see you.
We love you.
We won’t ever stop being here for the Britney Army!

Love,

-Anthony & Matt

I'm not upset at all anymore because the original leak fully, Ive watched it twice. There is literally nothing to be upset about. We got the original video (albeit unofficially), it's all over the internet

And of course everyone should respect Britney but it's silly to tell us to respect her team. I love Galaxy but stay in your lane, you can't tell people to respect other people (unless it's Britney of course)

This really needed to be said. Sure, the video isn't what we were expecting but the meltdowns and over the top dramatics are really putting a damper on what has so far been an amazing start to the next chapter in Britney's story. People acting like their lives are over and Britney's career is finished because of one video are really sad tbh. Make me is a good video, not her best but not her worst. She looks amazing, was cute, fun, goofy and sexy in it. There's not much more I would expect from a Britney video (besides dancing, but even then she's had plenty of videos without dancing that I've liked). It really saddens me that people aren't being respectful of Britney's wishes in this whole thing. She very clearly (and not just because it was reshot) was unhappy with the original version for whatever reason, and redid it. It's sad that people can/will never be satisfied with what Britney gives, especially when she's given us so much for so many years.

Unless you can somehow prove what Britneys wishes are, stop speaking on her behalf. So far, she not only agreed to do that sexy lachappelle video, she fucking SLAYED it, she was into and she looked as fierce as ever. That contradicts your claim that this video was against her wishes (she is an intelligent grown woman)

Then why was she calling people assholes on set? Why was there "creative differences" that resulted in the video being scrapped? I won't deny that Britney looked like she enjoyed the video as she was filming it, was excited when she posted the BTS photos, but something CLEARLY happened and she CLEARLY changed her mind. I'm not speaking on her behalf, I'm analyzing the evidence we have in front of us.

Well, if it really is her baby, I don't wanna see them giving up on the entire album after this lead single doesn't fulfill the expectations, like they did with Britney Jean. If she's so proud of it, I want at least 4 or 5 singles, with videoclip and everything, even if they're as rushed as the first one.

And I really wish for Britney that in the future things aren't like this anymore. I don't know what happened, whether she felt forced to shoot this videoclip that she didn't like since the beginning, or she did want this to be the video but the record label rejected it, both cases suck. I hope with future singles she's able to do what she likes, that she feels comfortable and that the label supports. Or she just should stop recording things she'll scrap later. How much money did they lose with that? :idc1:

You cannot prove that it was Britney that decided to scrap it

And you can't prove that it wasn't. But you can't deny Britney was upset on set as seen in the video where she was calling people assholes. This is a BIG indicator that Britney was unhappy with something.

The thing that's important to me is, she looks like she's into it. We've all seen Britney when she's not into something and she's doing something she doesn't want to be doing, this video was NOT one of those occasions. This video was toxic level

But that doesn't mean she liked the way the final product looked. Think back to work bitch and how she said she cut like half of the video because she didn't like it. We never got to see those scenes, but judging on the work bitch video she looked amazing and rocked it, so it's safe to assume it was the same case for the scenes that were cut. Just because Britney looked fierce and like she was enjoying herself doesn't mean she liked the overall feel/vibe/aesthetic of the video.

But you're just coming up with this! If Britney says it was her decision to scrap the video, I'll shut up (but I won't believe her. Her team will tell her to say that. I personally believe she loved that video)

I'm not just coming up with anything, as I said I'm analyzing the evidence that's been given to us. And see, you're saying right now you'll refuse to believe Britney was unhappy with the video, so clearly you're not going to listen to anything that points to this being true.

I think it's safe to assume Britney goes into scenes dealing with herself and what she's comfortable with. Once she sees the final video, it's the overall vibe of the video that she would be judging. Britney refused to shoot scenes for HIAM and there has been talk of clashes with it's director. We know Britney asked for cuts to WB because she mentioned it. She wasn't happy with the vibe of parts not connected to her.

JESUS CHRIST STOP TELLING PEOPLE HOW TO FEEL!!! Some ppl are ok with it and others are outraged!! Everyone can feel how they want and be as negative or positive as they want to!! I am and always will STAN hard for Britney! I've been with her since the beginning and to all of her concerts, am going to POM 6 times just this year alone and have dropped that dough for the M&G... there is no denying my fandom or loyalty!! That being said I'm allowed to be as disappointed as I want or feel that we did not get what looked like an amazing video and instead got something just ok! I'm tired of ppl speculating if it was Britney or her father or Larry... Whatever!!!.. We don't know who it was and we don't know it was or wasn't Britney!!! It doesn't matter!! Ppl saying raunch was the problem need to check many of the post momney videos she's made... hi 3!!! It doesn't matter why we didn't get it, as fans with all the leaks and teases and just the fact that it was a lead single.. We deserved it!!!! I still want it and I hope we get it!! I'm not here melting down like I'm gonna stop being a fan or stop supporting my queen but I am gonna take my time melting the mother F down for this huge disappointment of a video!!! If you want me to stay positive fine, but I'm gonna take my time to be upset! It hasn't even been 24hrs! I'll get positive on my own time! K thanks bye!!!

Being disappointed isn't the same as acting like a jackass which a large portion of this fanbase has become (Like someone posting how they wish they could go back in time and make the parents of someone who liked the released video, wear a condom).  We don't deserve something Britney doesn't want representing her. Now we don't know if that is why the video was scrapped but ask questions. Instead of being nasty buggers and threating to pull preorders and worse, why not ask questions of why and try to get answers. The fans might deserve to know why the original shot video was scrapped but there are much much much more professional ways to go about it.

For sure, britney is happy and thats all that matters. BUT we can t ignore this, i mean if they were gonna reshoot the video because she didnt like the first one iS OK, but at least she would have delivery a video that isnt pointless, I mean even the official perfume video is better than this! I didnt have a meltdown with gimme more but this video is just not okay. At least she have a good LP to look forward to and for what we've heard it sounds really good
