It's not her being sexy or sensual that she is over. The new video has gyrating and sex. It's pointless sexual content that she had with WB and rumored violence that she had with Perfume. I can see similar things in the original Make me so I can see her asking for cuts. And then scrapping when cuts weren't made. We weren't in the discussions so we can only guess.

I think Britney still loves being sexy, obviously, but I don't think she enjoys the flat out raunchy sex vibe of things. BOM and TOMH are all sensual sexy, so is the sex scene in make me. I think she filmed make me with an idea in mind and ended up not liking it once she watched it back, and that's ok too.

I think she actually does enjoy being raunchy and freaky sometimes and there's endless stuff to back that up.

Well sure, I didn't say she never enjoys the raunchy side, but that doesn't mean she's not allowed to change her mind later and not want it released too.

yeah i hope its true tho  if its false than her team must be really trying to make glory flop  although if it got scrapped, why didnt britney delete the photos she posted on instagram of it  but if it isnt scrapped, why did they use a screen shot from the video for the album cover  this whole thing is so confusing

Totally agree with everything youv said, This is so messy and confusing.
Its only recently she posted that dance vid of her in the studio dancing what looks like the same choreo from the MMO video,

And the fact that they had E on set interviewing Britney just makes it even more messy haha

The video was scrapped and it will never see the light, at least not on an official channel. LaChapelle is no rookie you can mess with. The original video is probably not finished and all they have is an early version, which is the one they rejected...

Yeah, that's why they used footage from the leak that still has the watermark/timecode for the G-Eazy scene in this new version.

There is a fine line between sexy and raunchy.  I think Britney has flirted between the two but has stayed more so on the sexy/sensual side.  "Dirrty" and "We Can't Stop" are two videos that fell on the raunchier side.  The original "Make Me" seemed to be more on the raunchy/trashy side, which I truly believe was one of the major creative differences.  "Gimme More" is one of the trashiest videos she's ever done, but I believe most of the others are on the sensual/sexy side.  Also, I agree that they probably never finished editing version 1, so there's just a raw version out there.

This is assuming that the "creative difference" originates from Britney herself and that what LaChapelle's people are speculating is true. Honestly I don't the issue was it's too sexy throughout. The label most likely didn't like the execution of certain scenes and wanted those scrapped. And the director was probably like no we can't move forward in this case because he probably wants final say on the video. He's been through edits with her before, the ending of Everytime was changed as you'll recall and he still came back to work with her for MMO so I'm sure the problems they have with this will be water under the bridge.

And i just would like to add that the majority of the press around the video has been focused on how great she looks and multiple outlets have called it steamy so i don't think what we got is really all that tame. The fan reaction to this has been super embarrassing though. And I know there's a majority who feel like "that's what she/her team" gets and I think its wholey unfair. Considering that she's visibly excited about the album and just wants to get the music out to us I have to imagine she bummed out by this because its really making a mountain out of a molehill. Play the blame game and sign all the petitions u want, but just remember that we're dealing with an artist who had been around since 99, has had numerous public scandal, and has had a breakdown or two over the stress her career has caused her, who honestly doesn't have to continue performing because of all this and the fact that she's a mom to two growing boys and his rich beyond belief. She doesn't need this but she's still here and I think that's all we should be focused on. But then again this is a group that just enjoys dragging their fav for one reason or another. So ya'll have fun with that, I'll wait for carpool karaoke, the iheartradio performance, the new album, the next single and whatever else is lined up in the near future.
