hey i have a question (mmo related)

i'm not a mmo video lover nor a hater, i'm something in between and i saw a scenes from the "original" video and i am seriously wondering why they had to re-shot the whole thing. wasnt there this excuse like the footage got 'damaged' or something like that? why is the original vid on the internet then?

 

i'm really curious, because as far as what we see now about the original video its not that sexual or bad (some tv ads are more sexual than this ngl)

It's weird. I think the G-Eazy scene should have been cut no matter what. I think the video should have been an amalgamation between what we got and what was leaked. Maybe. The leaked footage looked hot but boring. Britney writhing around. Half naked boys grinding half naked girls. Kinda been done. I don't think the original would have been much better than what we got unless there was something more we didn't see.

Maybe B Team just thought the original was boring? This video we received got really, really risque in the end too so I can't imagine it was Britney feeling over-sexualized? Like her ass is out the whole time.

Yeahhh I don't hate or love the MM video either. I do like her cute personality in it and she looks gorgeous. 

I'm with you. The whole thing is confusing and I wish Britney still did those letter to her fans on her website. Or that her label or someone would make a statement.

Such is being a Britney fan anymore, I guess. We're just gonna be confused a lot of the time lol.

yes all the leaks and then the video gets released and its nothing like the leaked stuff. and then the 'new' video has this weird concept of a casting which has like nothing to do with the song. weird.

The video that's leaked is definitely a rough cut, I don't think the "original" was ever completed for whatever reason, we'll likely never know. I haven't heard anything about the footage being damaged, just that there were creative differences between Britney/her team and the director. Britney/her team felt the video had no story or purpose and was too sexy, which I can completely see and agree with it. Like the story or not, there is a clear plot to the video we have and it's sexy in a tasteful, less raunchy way than the original.

They should of kept the dancing basement style scene from the original, That would of made this re-shoot version allot more interesting in my opinion :/ Nevermind, We just gotta move on I suppose now

It's not like there was not story board and the plot before they filmed. They knew what they were getting themselves into. Whatever the reason is I don't care anymore. Let's move on and wait for Glory

But they obviously didn't like the final outcome, so all of the before stuff doesn't matter. I agree though, I'm very excited for the album and what's to come promotion wise!

Storyboards and what actually gets shot can be different tho. It can look fantastic on paper and then be very problematic in execution.

What even is your opinion? You keep mentioning the original as if to say since she was okay with that then she/her team should be okay with the final outcome when things don't work that way. People change their minds constantly, it happened, time to accept that and move on.

Exactly...  They know how a video will play out before filming it, it's not like it's their first music video ever...

I just think that Britney herself cancelled it due to arguments with LaChapelle...
