I wish the album's theme was "urban" since that's the sound they were going for

Her team could've plan everything better. The album cover could've been 10 times better if it was shot by Ellen Von Unwerth not just a basic screenshot. I'm so sick of those lace outfits, they look so cheap and tacky. I would've preferred some jeans and a cool top and fedora. And the first single since it's "urban" it could've had some cool scene on the streets of downtown LA with some hot choreo and backup dancers but no we get a commercial for eos chapstick instead. Like nothing makes sense this era at all.

The album is supposed to be "urban" but the vision doesn't match at all :lessons:

From what I can tell, Britney's team are completely unsure of how to market it her now. The music is slightly more urban, sensual and adult, yet the visuals are rather tame and goofy. They evidently don't know whether to continue going down the sexy-Mom route, or simply carry on playing it safe. They need to decide on one direction (preferably the first) and stick to it.

MMO is not urban. She said there's 3 songs that are urban on the album but the whole album is not urban. she's done the jeans (pretty girls, outrageous), performing in the street before. She likes lace and leather now.

I'm not necessarily defending the visuals, but I will say the jeans/cute top/fedora look is a bit 2004.

Not if it's executed with a glam squad who know's today's trends. I feel like britney doesn't even have a stylist. They need someone to execute a good layout for the entire era. I like how itz she was wearing slacks and ties and fedoras for promo and performances , but she obviously had a stylist

I agree, they have no clue how to market her. And the worst part they can't seem to hire a good stylist either

I think Britney likes lace. If she's wearing what she wants and recording what she wants this album I'm pretty happy about that.

make me is definitely urban pop. The whole lace thing is so "intimate collection" kinda look. The album cover looks like a leftover picture from her intimate collection shoot, actually the whole video does

The song wouldn't play on urban format radio, the ambient sounds and the guitar in the background are more pop. The only thing urbanish is G-easy's verse, just barely.
