We all know that Britney has been tied to a contract that orders her to release 8 albums. And now that she's done just that, she's free. Or is she? It's no secret that Britney's ideas for a more Urban album for her last three records have all been scrapped. In fact, a reliable source of mines tells me Britney has been wanting to recreate one of her first scrapped projects, "Original Doll" for quite some time now. "Original Doll" as some of you may know was going to be all about freedom. Something Britney hasn't had in her life for a long time.

My source goes on to tell me that Britney has written dozens of songs for a new album that she thought up all on her own. He tells me, a good example of a song that was created for her specific idea of the album she wanted to create is "Everyday" which is a leaked track about having hope, supposedly written by Britney before Femme Fatale was even in the works."Around the time they were going to start working on Femme Fatale, Britney was hopeful they would let her have some artistic freedom with the new album, since she followed the road they wanted to go with Circus. She'd began writing, but when she took it all back to her team and the label, the rejected it and set her up with hit makers to guarantee success."  They weren't taking any chances, apparently.

Femme Fatale was created for single and commercial success. Which it had. Working with producers and writers such ass Max Martin, Dr. Luke and even Will.i.Am, "the album was created to be a hit, and that it was. And Britney wasn't happy, she wanted to do more. She wanted to venture out." - This would explain most of Britney's lack of excitement in interviews and shows and cameos during 2011.

Once again, with Britney Jean, she wanted to do take the same route she's been wanting to take with her music. Granted, Britney Jean can be described as a "personal" album, but not the way Britney wanted it to be yet again. "After they rejected the album theme Brit has been pitching over and over again, she just gave up." He tells me. "Love inspires me, breakups do too, but what inspires her more is her life, and the crave of freedom. She's been dying to express it through her music. But is always put in a box."

All of this explains Britney's lack of envelopment with BJ interviews, promotion, and other appearances. He also tells me the Vegas residency was in the works way before Britney Jean was, and that they debated on sending her off to Vegas with a Greatest Hits album released, or a new project entirely. Needless to stay, they created a new album because they felt it was gather peoples attention more.

"It's not Britney's fault she doesn't seem to care about her music much anymore, or her album campaigns, she's just truly not as passionate about it anymore, and won't be until they allow her to create the album she's had in mind."

Poor Britney. As for my Source: They've been in meetings with Britney and her team, they may or may not have been seen in the IAMBJ Documentary, and they DO work with Britney's team for Britney: POM. No bs.

You've never given me any reason not to believe you, so I believe you.

Does he know if she's gonna do a new album, that is more her vision? I really want her to release what she wants to release

He didn't explain anything to me about a new album. But with the extending on POM and her personal life, I don't really think she has any desire to release a new album yet.

And in Mad Genius Larry said "Britney has great instincts" so why don't they let her? I'm so confused by her team and label. :awkwarddd:

I personally think Britney Jean only happened because it was part of her Vegas residency contract. They wanted to buzz the show and make some headlines before it started, which explains horrible timing, so they pushed her into producing another studio album. This would explain why it feels so rush and incomplete.

I do hope she will go to a different label that gives her more freedom and independence but I just can't see her sign another 5-album contract. I doubt she'll release anything anytime soon and I don't think she even wants to. Urban or not, I feel like she may have cared about it 5 years ago but isn't that bothered about the quality of her music anymore as long as she gets to spend more time with her kids.

Hopefully though, when album 9 actually happens, it will be made the way she wants, not will.i.am, not RCA, not Planet Hollywood, her.

I state in the OP that my source says it was made for Vegas. :drown:

But yeah you're right. I hope she signs with a label that will let her take whichever direction she wants with her music and gives her time to put together the albums she wants. If she'll continue music after POM that is.

TBH if this is real which i have a feeling is...i completely sympathize w her as an artist...Its been so long since Britney really has been able to express herself the way she should & wants to. I garuntee her team is still in "damage control" mode from her breakdown and still feel the need to advertise this safe cute pop hitter soft Britney & tbh despite her being a pop artist she has been anything but safe! however these last few era's say otherwise...She needs liberation

I agree! They need to finally let her branch out.

Is this a factor in the way she performs or feels about promotion? because she's not making the music she wants to?! We know how much this girl like being risque or at least up to date with the times of music & what's really hot instead of following trends...

Yes, like I stated, he said she just wasn't as passionate with BJ because of how handled it was on everyone else's part.
