Is it something all artists do? Is it her team not working closely enough with directors? Is it their obsession with her "brand"? Is it Britney never being listened to until it's time for her to sign something final? She's said before no one really listens to her opinion.

 

Weird. The Britney machine is so confusing and fickle and mysterious. No wonder she's just kinda gotten to the point where she's like, Imma do my thing, dance and sing my heart out, then my ass is going to Hawaii. How exhausting. Can you imagine how frustrating and disappointing it must be to repeatedly work on projects just to have them scrapped??

WOW! I knew about all of these but until they were pointed out in this article, I didn't realize how many of them there have been!!  I mean I'm sure this happens sometimes for every artist but it still seems to have happened a lot for Brit..

DLMBTLTK had a reshoot, IGTBB supposedly had a shoot, same with Mona lisa supposedly  

EDIT: also sometimes was put on hold due to a leg injury too

That's what I was thinking, I'm sure she's not the only artist to have this happen, but 6x seems excessive.

I don't follow anyone else closely enough to know if it happens for others, but I'm sure it does. The music industry is notorious for fucking over artists, Britney isn't the only one

Listen things happen. It happens to TV shows, movies, commercials, and music videos. Whenever some entity like a label, a brand, a studio, has a say that supercedes the artists it happens and that appears to be the case with both LaChapplle shoots and Joseph Khan.

They also didn't mention BTMYH which has been rumored to be about teen pregnancy. Anyway point is it happens.

I like "Private Show" but its better as an album track than a single release imo

The Oops album was made out of BOMT demos 

when Your Eyes say It had a vid too

Some tracks in the Britney album were scrapped due to difficulties with the producer 

Britney hated some of the tracks in Britney because they were too childish

Crosssroads was toned down too 

Anticipating and Thats Where You Take Me were kinda scrapped singles 

MATM was about to be a solo 

Boom Boom supposedly had a vid 

Early Mornin and BOM had been rewritten and rerecorded with slightly alternate lyrics and baby vocals

TOMH was supposed to be a single but it was scrapped due to the controversy itd cause
