I honesty love most of her songs she's the only artist who's albums I don't skip tracks and clumsy is actually growing on me

@Universe>Exhale @I_need_me @SalamiGizmo @TheOriginalDollz @partyinfrench @David @Ariana Grande @HybridFan3 Before I say this just know that I LOVE CLUMSY and it's possibly my favorite we've heard from Glory so far (hard to choose between it and MM)... Soooo maybe I'm alone in this and maybe I'll be dragged but remember everyone hating on Body Ache (which I personally thought was a flawless bop and shoulda been a single) because it sounded like it wasn't finished.. well I kinda think that's how the end of Clumslay sounds tbh.. That doesn't make me love it any less but I do think there could be more. .. if that makes any sense..

I do like it  But I understand why it won't be a single.

Let's just compare it to TTWE for a second; The production on both songs is insanely different! TTWE's is way more detailed, but also processed af, to the point you cannot separate Britney's voice from the bg vocalists.

I like Clumsy because, besides it being a bop, you get to hear Britney's vocal diversity. Her lower register in the background sounds sooooo sexy  Her head and belting voice is something we're not used to hear from her, and she's bringing it with full force on this album  

 

I just don't compare Britney's new songs with past ones, I just enjoy the music I'm finally receiving from my queen

Yeah I agree with this! I like the comparison @I_need_me made to it being like "how I roll" a good song but not a single. I think JLM sounds more like what Radio is eating up at the moment so I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's a single

LOL whether certain fans like "How I Roll" or not it had the most critical acclaim on the FF era.

 

If it were up to some fans Britney would stick to doing covers and keep making teen pop music.

 I agree that Body Ache is a bop... so is Til It's Gone but it's too repetitive.
