For some reason both performances had something that felt off, and I don't know what it is :idkwut:

I mean, she looked amazing, she executed the choreography well... I don't know, maybe it's just that the routines don't work, or maybe because she's on Planet Hollywood it feels like another POM performance so it's not as exciting. Anyway, I'm not trying to be negative or anything, I'm SO happy that she's promoting the album this hard

she performed fine, however:

- shots were weird

- lighting was off

- audience was muted so it seemed dead

- we're used to the POM performances

I think that is what was bothering me the most, it reminded me of those fanmade DVD's where they put the studio version of the song over the original audio, it sounds really weird.

I'm tired of Today Show performances with neon colored dancers. :ashley:

They muted the audience and the lighting was terrible. The shots looked all blown out like it was a cell phone video :ashley:

Britney slayed tho, despite the mess around her :ashley:

I think its because the audience was muted and also it wasn't like a packed out audience, From the shots it looks as if its just the two pits at the front that was full of guests and past that the first row of booths had a couple of people in. The thing that annoys me is that the times where she has great facial expressions or good dance parts they use shots of the audience are panned out really far so you cant see her face :crying3:

they need a better production, stage production and film crew or something. They dub the audio so it sounds like an empty studio, the camera angles are a little non epic and don't play to Brit's strengths a lot of times in terms of camera shot switches and really capturing and translating the performance through film. because i bet seeing it live is just as exciting and it kind of almost needs to be the other way around. Not that watching it on tv should be better than live but for cinematic purposes they should capture it and find certain styles to film or even produce the staging.

Example....the footage for DYWCO is bad in the sense that because its a glow in the dark theme they bleach a lot of it on camera so it looks like the brightness is up 100x lol doesnt look great. theres camera parts and lenses/ certain ways to approach lighting for something like that and to capture how it should look so its not bleached out

I understand why they recorded then, but if she had a full on audience like she usually does, it would have been better. She feeds off their energy and there's barely any showing in the videos. Any artist wouldn't be at their best with barely anyone watching in a large room, atmosphere plays a lot. She's amazing in Vegas, she had great energy and presence at the vmas, I'm not worried a bit.

I was looking forward to this performances shot professionally but they messed up with the lighting ?

Well who would want to her people screaming over her, that would be annoying? I certainly wouldn't.:4music:

she seems without any enthusiasm dancing...even it seems that have doubts with some movements....I think she didn't practice enough, and there was no energy in her dancing.

I hope the next performs will be better than that,
