I love both songs but IMO Love Me Down is more interesting to my ear. It doesn't really sound like everything else on the radio in the way that SP does and I'm not sure why so many people want SP to be the next single. It's kinda chill and she already released a chill song about fucking so it should make more sense to now release an upbeat song about fucking. Plus you might get better choreo in the video for LMD.

I really REALLY want both songs to become singles at some point. I think Slumber Party is more high quality and interesting, it has that R&B vibe that has been getting a lot of praise by the critics, but at the same time I agree with you, as a second single we should have an upbeat song since Make Me was already a chill tune!

Hopefully Do You Wanna Come Over? doesn't end up being the 2nd single though, if she wants to she can release it as a 4th/5th single, but we need the strongest song on the album to follow up the lead single so it can bring more success to the era!

2st single - Slumber Party
3rd single - Just Luv Me
4th single - Change Your Kind
5th single - Love Me Down
That would be my flawless list. Tho if standard edition tracks are the only ones that can become singles I'd replace Change Your Mind for Man On The Moon tho I don't see it being played on the radio :/

2nd single: Love Me Down
3rd: slumber party
4th: Just Luv Me

Absolutely LOVE both of those!!! But when I first heard Love Me Down....I was blown away! There is layers to this tune!! As in the beat, they way she changes it up, the way she sings, Completely slayed me......But Slumber Party is a FUCKING JAM!! Hope they both become singles tbh.

I hate Love Me Down.

The verses are annoying.

Plus the song doesn't make sense. The verses make it clear she doesn't want a relationship with this dumbass, yet "my baby gon love me down" :jackk:

She mean she wants a good fuck

All the guy is good for is fucking.

I don't think releasing another chill-vibe song after Make Me is a good idea tbh
I love Slumber Party and I would say fine if there was a more up-beat song as her first single, but I just... like I just don't think it's a smart move to be a second single. Third single, maybe.

Love Me Down hits way harder and would get more love in the clubs too in addition to the points I mentioned earlier. Truly if she could release everything that would be the best. And I sincerely hope she goes for at least 5 singles but knowing how things go she's probably going to release 3 or 4. In that case she has to get it right. LMD is the best choice for single 2. Now watch her release Just Like Me....
