I don't think the lyric in HG is acting about Britney because that doesn't make sense, she usually keeps her mouth shut about whatever may have happened between them.

 

But anyway she may have used Jt references in the song and in that sense its about him but I don't know if the intent of the song is about him entirely. I think its about David more than JT. Is she even a co-writer on this song?

Who knows, she's had many toxic/failed relationships in the past, so it could be about anyone! Honestly, I wouldn't blame her if it really was about JT, but I hope it's not, she doesn't need to keep bringing up a relationship that ended so many years ago, I'm sure she's moved on!
