Meet the lucky Britney Army member, Cody Kelly, that won this years Postmates VMA contest! Britney-Galaxy.com had the chance to chat with cody about his experience FaceTiming with the Queen of Pop herself and his VMA experience. Cody also told BG that Postmates is flying him to Las Vegas to meet Britney and also will be joining her on stage as the “Freakshow” victim. Check out the interview below:

1) What was it like FaceTiming with Britney? 

Honestly, I still can’t believe it happened. If you asked me to remember anything about it I couldn’t because it was so surreal. I have to watch the video back to prove to myself it even happened. It’s not everyday your hero is looking directly at you on facetime. Absolutely an unbelievable experience I will cherish forever.

2) What was your reaction to winning the “Postmates” contest? 

I didn’t believe it. I just kept saying “shut up, stop messing with me.” I probably sounded insane. There was some jumping up and down too, but don’t tell anyone

3) Are you seeing Britney’s Las Vegas show soon?

I’ve seen it twice already and yes. Part of the Postmates prize is to attend Piece of Me with a meet and greet and to join her on stage, which I’m super excited and nervous about.

4) How was the VMAS?

It was great! I’ve never attended the VMAs live before and it’s one of my favorite award shows for sure, especially since Britney basically IS the VMAs. It was great to see all of the acts in person. My favorite moment was when Britney sang the ‘Me, myself and I’ part. Thought it was really clever and unexpected.

5) What is your Favorite song off “Glory”?

I’d have to say ‘If I’m Dancing’. I can’t help but start dancing when I hear it. It makes for a great workout jam or a dancing when no ones watching moment in your bedroom Plus, she gives some of that British accent she loves to do, which I think is so fun.

6) What is your favorite unreleased Britney song?

I think Strangest Love is a really pretty song and showcases her voice nicely.

7) What do you admire about Britney?

First and foremost she’s a pop legend, no question. I love how she’s lasted in the industry so long and has really given us so many iconic moments and music. She’s talented, resilient and an icon.

8) Has Britney ever helped you in your life or inspired you?

Britney has inspired me tremendously. Because of her I pursued music for a while and she was a big inspiration to me while I discovered my style and sound while I was in the studio.

9) Favorite Britney Spears song?

This is such a hard question! I guess I would have to say ‘I’m a Slave for You’ since that was the point where I really decided she was my absolute favorite artist.

10) Anything you would like to Britney if she was reading this?

I would just want her to know how much I respect her as an artist and to thank her for inspiring me and pumping out my favorite music album after album. Not to mention how she’s making a childhood dream come true for me being able to meet her.
