Yasss, it could have even been the lead single tbh

Better is def the best overall song as a single. Liar sounds too country, it won't make people want to buy the album. If britney really wants to release liar, it should be the last single.

Songs such as Just Luv Me and Man on the Moon, are great songs but not right for a single.

There are a handful of songs that are OK and would be suitable singles IF they had a killer video. Such as Love Me Down, Slumber Party, and Change Your Mind.

If it's true that the best uptempo songs didn't make the final cut to the album,  they should only do one more single from Glory, then re-release the album next summer with a hard-hitting couple of singles with more promo.

I don't know why Better is so underrated, they aren't even considering it for a single. I agree about Liar being too country, and I think Just Luv Me or Man on the Moon would do really great as the last single.

A re-release would be great!

Personally I think britney is afraid to put herself out there again with a great song and video that could be compared to Toxic. She knows if it's not a wild success, it's because the public has lost interest in her. So she sabotages herself by doing mediocre songs and videos and pretending she didn't care about the charts. Maybe the music she is known for isn't what she likes anymore.

With the right song/video/promo, she could rule the world again. It's frustrating to see her and her label make so many missteps.

I like Better because it's still a sexy pop/dance song like we expect from britney, but it has a fresh sound and also a more grown up view on sex.

I like both these songs but I think Love Me Down or Do You Wanna Come Over should be the next single

I still think that Do You Wanna Come Over & Love Me Down are the best choices for the 2nd single

I'm here for DYWCO edited without the male voice, but not for generic LMD

Yes some insider on exhell, he's trustworthy apparently

I believe this was from a legit insider over at PopJustice (goldsoundz), who has been giving concrete exclusives for months now unlike Timothy, and not someone posting on Exhale.  Unless he/she posts there now too, then yeah, but I doubt that's the case.

I'm good with either becoming a single -- would prefer "Slumber Party," personally -- but the visual needs to be right.  :yestbh:

Yes, it was goldsoundz, but someone posted on exhale about that so I assumed he was also on exhale

He never said that RCA was deciding between those 2. Those are just one of the tests they did, the test prior to that slumber party & love me down got great responses as well

Well I didn't know Slumber Party and Love Me Down were also tested

So which one of the four songs had the best response from people?

Liar will be a bigger radio flop that perfume

how can you ppl not hear it...its absolutely not radio material

and the western country vibe will prevent it from charting outside of US because nobody likes country

  • It's 100% Britney's most radio friendly song since IWG, it sounds like a Kathy Percy song :displeased: It doesn't sound country at all, I have no idea where people are getting these terrible arguments/ideas tbh :4music:

flopordan also posted about it on bh. I think we are really getting one of these two songs, the insider has been correct b4. As much as I love Just Luv Me I don't want it as the second single as it has similar vibe to make me, but I def want to see it as single later on
