I am underwhelmed by the iheartradio music festival performance. IMO it was too basic to be so long.   I would have rather had a shorter performance and gotten more than the usual armography but at this point i kinda don't know what else I can expect.  she slayed the choreos don't get me wrong but half way through I started looking at my phone because every song was mostly her prancing around and moving her arms. drag me.tell me I need to go to the light and see Jesus. y'all know I am a true stan but I won't just gush over everything when I feel like she could have done better or done more

She did amazing but some of those choreographies can't be saved, no matter how Britney executes them. I loved the show and some parts of it were great and surprised me in a good way, but I hated how they showcased the most tragic part of POM, Stronger and Crazy should have been re-worked.

I feel the same honey. Most of it was just standing, walking, hairflip and arm moves. She can do a lot more and a lot better. She really didnt pick the best songs from her show, and the ones that could have been improved like Toxic was on the bbmas for example, it was just still boring if not even more than it already is on her show.

Yeah... I feel like the choreography was kind of basic, and didn't help her show/reach her real potencial. Also, I feel like she wasn't comfortable with what she was wearing, like those boots but idk, I think she executed the choreography correctly, but it was just bland  

She looked amazing though.  

Another think she should really do is use pre-recorded vocals. I know she's been doing it this way for so long that us fans don't care/don't mind ( excepting a few members here and there) because we got used to it or because we just enjoy seeing her promoting and dancing but It would help so much with the image the gp got of her. I really hope we'll be getting new pre-recorded vocals in future performances   and the delusional side of me still hopes/longs for actual live vocals as well but I'm ok with just pre-recorded stuff as long as she slays the choreo

Am I the only one who loved the shit out of entire performance???? I thought the whole thing was great! Better than the VMAs and BBMAs because she seemed more relaxed and like she was having a blast. I liked the choreo overall, too. Sure it drug in some spots, but I can honestly say that this is my favorite of Current-ney's performances. Everyone on Twitter is raving about it.

The setlist killed it from the beginning.

But I guess only fans feel like that cuz we've seen those performances a thousand times.

Crazy/stronger need to go. From this performance, from pom, they just need to be replaced. The cheography is terrible and like @I_need_me said, no one can save it. If crazy/stronger was replaced with another glory song I would have been 100% happier with this performance, however I do think it was another good, solid performance!

Tbh I think that's what's happening. The response on Twitter was overwhelming positive (she trended in a top spot for like 6 hours!) and I think the write ups will be, too. We can't forget that though we've all seen POM performances so many times -  the GP hasn't. Her doing the same or similar performances is rather typical. A lot of Beyoncé's showcases are the same. It's new depending on whose watching.

I thought it was great too, I'm actually surprised so many here were underwhelmed.  Aside from not prerecording her vocals, which will always be a gripe for me, I thought she was mostly fantastic.

I'm surprised, too! A few of the Britney boards I check, everyone's expressed extreme disappointment and I don't get it. I thought it was great.

I liked it. Loved the entrance she looked confident and hot. But i think team B is forgetting that she just dropped and album, one of the best critic acclaimed in her career and somehow the sales didn't match to the expectations. She needs to do glory songs, period. 

Bilboard awards we had the hits medley, vma was short and disappointing. This time she could at least perform more GLory songs. And for the love of god at least the part G eazy came she coule have said something live, it looked weird how he was singing and she only was waving and liping.

 

but overall i was pleased

A dancey show only works well if everything is executed perfectly from choreography, camera angles,timing to special effects...

thats exactly why Beyonce cant be topped... The award shows shes performing at design the stage exactly the way she needs it to be... Britney can only do that much if shes only there to have fun... Especially with a non circular stage .

 

you say she has nothing to prove but whats wrong with proving yourself and wanting to stay the best in the game

tbh after this era i feel like shell stop promoting for a very long time yet again. I feel like all this is a clap back at fans to say 'we did tons of huge promo and sales didnt happen so your promo argument is invalid. No more promo ever!'
