Mmm I don't think it was scrapped for being too sexy. Obviously we don't really know what really happened, but to me the theory that makes the most sense is the disagreement between David, the label and the brands advertised. Lachapelle has a reputation for being very divaish, so it seems believable that he got mad when they tried to mess with his work.
