...I hope her team is proactive enough to do a distracting promo blitz and that somehow her team and JT's team come up with some strategy to block the makers from being able to do too much promo to squash it. It's supposed to be coming out in February so idk she could drop a new video, appear on a TV show (do SNL maybe) and do a major interview where she reveals a truth about herself.

I doubt it. Its a fictional work based on real life events. The filmmakers are gonna cover themselves.

I agree she should do some sort of promo for a distraction, SNL would be amazing but no, she doesn't need to do an interview where she reveals the truth. She wants to move on from that, and we should respect that decision.

Unfortunately she can't. Others have tried & failed. It's a biopic about her life in which she's a public figure so not much can be done

Well with the attention it's getting I highly doubt that would happen. They have interviews with the media & everything planned out so it's definitely gonna be huge. Britney also has shows in February so her promo strategy is obviously in continuous from November- December

Not a truth about her breakdown necessarily because that would just serve as promo for this movie .  Like some other kind of truth. Like "I never really liked the video for xyz or I recently had a phone conversation with JT or Xtina and we officially squashed our beef or I'm considering celibacy or whatever"or she could and definitely should at some point do a for the record: piece of me edition, have some celebrity cameo as they come to watch the show. Just something, anything more interesting than this movie.

Every music icon has had an unofficial movie done about them, Jackson, Madonna and now Britney. Most with not pay mind to any of it but will watch just to see how it's played out. Britney and her team already gave a statement about it so it's best to move on. It will be trash t.v. nothing more, nothing less.
