I disagree.
Two Mid-Tempo Singles in a row will murder this era.
Slumber Party will flop harder then Perfume if it's released as the 2nd single.

It needs to be a 3rd single, following an up-tempo radio friendly track, such as Love Me Down, If I'm Dancing, Change Your Mind, or Liar.

Doubt it, it was the most streamed song off of Glory aside from the pre released tracks that were released weeks before the album as well as it being a fan fav and a favorite amongst GP, ive heard Slumber Party in a lounge as well as a club remixed with Hotline Bling and everyone was going crazy. YOU may not like it but the course of the album was ALWAYS intended to be more down tempo-ed and chill. Perfume was a straight Ballad with NO bop appeal.

record labels get 80% of their pay from tours...

Madonna earned 305 million dollars from MDNA tour...you don't really think all of if goes to her, dancers, drivers, stage ppl and renting the arena do you ?

Vegas contract might not be perfected for RCA but so far they're only loosing money from all this Glory stunt

I'm not surprised she didn't work with any 'massive' producers because some ask for 1 million dollars per song [dr luke] so add this all up and the songs on Glory could all cost them 5 million dollars just for the producers, not including everything you stated...

'legendary' music video producers also require million dollar figures so I wont be surprised if they paid that guy the money they promised him for the original MM video and then got pissed off at Britney for the stunt she pulled and stopped funding her... heck I would do that if the celebrity was acting like a diva and having 'artistic differences' yet posting sexy videos on twitter...this is her job she could at least suck it up like all of us do.

I wont be surprised if they're fed up with her shit and not renew her contract after it ends.

she just doesn't sell and doesn't seem to want to finish vegas so they'll just drop her and shell sign with Ellen

http://abcnews.go.com/Business/story?id=86535 - Record Labels do not get a cut of tour unless you have that in your contract. Money has always been touring. Madonna's contract with Live Nation is 4 albums and 4 tours, so she must tour due to her contract she signed, there's a difference.

Yeah, but it was a remix. Not the Original Version. Just because they liked what they heard in a club, does not mean they will like the original version.
It may be the most streamed, but that doesn't necessarily carry over into Radio, and longevity.
I truly believe it will completely flop, and this era will be 100% over.

Who cares lol it was still pretty similar and had Britney throughout the play. Britney has never even really been a radio seller artist ever. She's a studio album selling artists. So just cuz its not #1 doesnt make it a flop per say. AND Boys got a remix treatment and was released I can see a dope ass remix for Slumber Party if it needs some spicing up. But hey to each his own right

This officially is the worst era EVER, with BJ we got 2 videos and one of them was perfect.

I still think 2nd single is coming.
I have a feeling they may have been filming the video, or will be doing it soon (I mean, britney did get a haircut...), and we will  have it before the end of October.

Every record deal signed in the past 5 years has been a 360 deal.  Labels only want touring and merchandising rights nowadays.

Britney is lucky, she left a very old 8 album deal that didn’t include anything but music sales and had a lot more negotiation power coming out of it. I expect RCA definitely got at least a small cut of Vegas/touring in the new deal. Britney is still profitable and is a huge catalog artist for them. It pays for them to keep her releasing, since every time she releases something or does promo, her greatest hits start selling and rises back up the charts.

Personally I think team Brit they are just taking this era slow cause they know it’ll be a while before she is gonna have another album out.
