Fanmade.

Official release was cancelled due to cocaine video.

Rumor. But either way, the release was definitely cancelled.

Untrue, if it was he wouldn't be at the iheartradio festival with Britney.

Contracts are a thing.

They can cancel releases, but canceling performances is a whole other story.

(Especially when at a festival, such as the VMA's, iHeartRadio, etc.)

If you haven't noticed, G-Eazy has had little to no interaction with Britney, other than the performances.

But I promise you, after Make Me is officially dead (Any day now), G-Eazy won't have any contact with Britney.

If the cocaine video happened before the release of the album, they probably would have released the solo version on the album :queenflopga: Tbh.

Where is the release announcement at? G-Easy can be removed because I'm sure in the contract is about doing drugs, there for Britney would do make me like at the Apple and Jonathon Ross. G-Easy isn't a big enough star that Britney needs him to help for support. It's not like Mariah and ODB or Mariah and P. Diddy.  Other than this forum I haven't heard anything about G-Easy nor this coke video. So have all the contracts that are needed because if team Britney was truly done with him because of this video, Britney would be performing Make Me without G-Easy rap. Case closed without receipts honey

Alright, now I'm about to get ugly :hairtie:

It's common sense about how the entertainment industry works.

Contracts are signed days, sometimes weeks beforehand. Regardless of what happens, the contracted document is supposed to be carried out.

For example, the 2007 VMA's, why she's never performed My Prerogative live, etc.

(My Prerogative was only used as a tour interlude because BRITNEY owns the instrumental and intro - the lyrics and rest belong to Bobby Brown, who won't allow a live performance.)

The contract with G-Eazy was possibly signed to include the iHeartRadio, as both performances were nearly identical and used the same audio.

The cocaine video is a HUGE factor in the (semi-confirmed) studio release.

Several news outlets reported that the official studio would be released and it would be titled the "VMA Eazy Remix" - that's all the info we had. No release date, nothing. No info was given. Which is typical for this era.

Britney is in her conservatorship, and that means she is to be directed away from ANY drugs, including alcohol, and ESPECIALLY cocaine.

Considering the cocaine video was EVERYWHERE (and if you missed it, you probably don't pay attention.) we know her team has seen it.

(We don't have official confirmation, but they lurk around this forum, ShitHeavy, and various others, they see EVERYTHING.)

As for promoting Make Me... The song was released in fucking JULY. It's now OCTOBER. (Four months.)

We were told after the VMA performance that they "weren't giving up on Make Me just yet", shortly after the cocaine video.

They NEVER mentioned the cocaine video, because they want to pretend it doesn't exist.

If they do, it could be considered slander against G-Eazy and result in a lawsuit. (If his team wants to be that petty.)

That's why the official release never happened. The 2nd single was originally planned to be the Make Me (VMA Eazy Remix), but that didn't plan out for obvious reasons.

So then they had to scramble for a second single, sign away contracts, etc.

(At this point, it looks like Slumber Party is gonna be single 2.)

And if you don't believe me about contracts, singles, and whatnot, Radar from Circus says hello.

But stay mad just because you're not getting the official studio. I tried to help.

You say there are no receipts, but you don't need receipts if you have common sense. :queenflopga:

Sweetheart.

LOL funny….let me break somethings down for you on this matter. My Prerogative instrumental is owned Zomba and Bloodshy & Avant, you know the same people who did Radar, which btw was supposed to be a single from Blackout per contract and that’s why it ended up on Circus for that reason and as a single. Bobby Brown, Gene Griffen, and Edward T. Riley have given Britney permission to record the words/music, meaning she can record it, sing it live, have remixes issued, or use it however she pleases, like as an interlude in the FF tour. Bobby Brown dislikes Britney’s version and has stated he’d like to make music with her, he still gave the ok for her to release her version because he needs the cash.
I have yet to see a link or anything stating that this remix was coming, in fact there isn’t enough public interest in Make Me for this to even to be an issue. If the remix was to be issued it sure isn’t in the new EP that came out nor would have been a stand alone. G-Easy isn’t a big enough star like I stated before, Britney singing his only top ten hit is to remind people who hell he is. I could carless if this was to be a single or not, you just don’t go stating things that are true...
