Disclaimer:

I am a huge Britney fan, I love all of her songs she is my favourite artist hands down.

However I have some questions about Myah Marie pertaining to Britney Jean, up until last year I didn't believe that Myah was singing the lead until the stems sort of leaked along with some recording sessions and I just want to know where Myah is singing and where Britney is

 

questions: is Myah singing on S&M and Scream and Shout

 

Alien: clearly the "not alone" parts are Myah

Work Bitch: The high notes, and the sung bridge 

Perfume: 100 percent Britney

It Should Be Easy: 100 percent Britney

Tik Tik Boom: I think the chorus is Myah? I know for sure the ad-libs at the end are Myah 

Body Ache: 100% Myah

Til it's Gone:  I think the chorus is Myah? I defiantly hear Myah on this track just not sure where

Passenger: Chorus and bridge are Myah 

Chilling With You: All Myah expect the "you" ad-lib and "bout a thing" line in the chours

Don't Cry: 100 percent Britney

Brightest Morning Star: Chorus and bridge are Myah 

the other two bonus tracks I can't tell

 

I have been listening to Britney Jean for 3 years and I love it, I just want to know where Myah is singing, because I can't figure it out

Yeah, I think that your analysis was pretty accurate. I also get the feeling that Myah is somehow present in Hold On Tight and NTIFY, but it's not as prominent and obvious as in other songs, so maybe it's just her voice layered with Britney's there and there, it's not like she took over the song like in Body Ache. 

And also, I think Britney Jean is definitely the only album where Myah does lead vocals. Even though it was rumored that she was in Circus and FF it's obvious that all the vocals are Britney's, she probably just did background vocals back then.

Yes Sia is on background on passenger, I think "ride" word might be Sia but it could be Myah Marie

Is it just me or on Chillin With You, Myah almost sounds like she is mocking the way Britney sings, it sounds like she is doing a parody of a Britney song.

I agree 100 percent with this, Femme Fatale was 100 percent Britney on lead (expect HATLM chorus but it's not that bad because she is still singing)  same with Circus and Glory

It's Myah af, Sia have totally different voice 

Sia just did BG (but overtuned and almost muted as always in final mastering), and screaming before and during ending of the song.

First verse Myah also did, but some words did Britney. They just "prepared" your ears for second verse.

I've  been hearing this for so many years... why would Britney put out and album where she doesn't sing herself  ? it just doesn't make any sense !

 

BJ was the beginning of her experimenting with her voice and Glory was the continuation... her voice has a bunch of random ranges like a singer should be.

I'm a singer... I can easily change my ranges and imitate anything from louis Armstrong to Justin Bieber ... even Daughtry on good days

her voice now is different from how it was during her first few albums...voices changes...

 

on another note

a few people I know who are not the biggest Britney fans but know all her albums told me today what they think about Glory [they just listened to it a few days ago].

it was - "its better than BJ... but not better than any other album. second worst'.

Does anyone have actual examples of any of this. Not saying I'm doubting what's been said, I just need to know why I'm supposed to hate this album so much. No matter what turns out to be true or not this album leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Not from the actual album itself but from all the negativity that surrounds it.

because she was a mother during BJ and now shes Britney again ?
