Billboard must be doing little updates to their articles because I've seen seeing old ones pop up in search results. ANYWAY, this one came up and I know we have some hardcore Femme Fatale lovers on here so I thought I'd re-share it: http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/472310/britney-spears-femme-fatale-track-by-track

Bilboard's track by track breakdown of that classic bop. Why not do our own updated one, too? Here's mine, feel free to add yours! I'm just writing short descriptors based on how the songs make me feel.

Till The World Ends

If you've seen my postings on this and other Britney boards, you know I'm obsessed with this song. It's my favorite B. Spears song of all time.

Hold It Against Me

I remember staying up for the video release and just being blown away (though everyone seemed to hate it at the time). Still super corny lyrics-wise, but I don't mind it.

Inside Out

SEX SEX SEX SEX HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE IT. Plus, been there, done that. Billboard called it "Easily a natural pick for "Femme's" third single" lmao.

I Wanna Go

This one had to grow on me tbh. The whole "I I I wanna go oh oh" I found so annoying initially. Still one of my least favorites on FF, but it's a bop.

How I Roll

LOVE this song. Second favorite off the album and second favorite to blast in the car on the way to hang out with my friends (TTWE takes the top spot, naturally). Also like it for getting ready to go out. If just feels super feminine and fun.

Drop Dead (Beautiful)

This song made me laugh when I first heard it. Steam me like a pot full of vegetables! Ok, Sabi.

Seal It With A Kiss

This was a favorite of an old boss of mine, which cracks me up because she is NOT the Britney Spears type. However, it is catchy as hell and in my top 5 from this album. Probably in my top 20 of all of her songs.

Big Fat Bass

Not really a fan. I've tried - for YEARS now! - but I find it rather annoying and basic like a Becky.

Trouble For Me

This one's fun! And I think most of us have been in this kind of situation. At least I have. Once, twice, maybe 7 times, I'm not counting, don't judge me.

Trip To Your Heart

After Heaven On Earth, this is my favorite love song by Britney. It's so sensual and flirty - I love it!

Gasoline

Also hella corny, but I don't know how you couldn't like this one. My little sisters love the way she says machine in this hahaha.

Criminal

It's ... fine. I get why fans were upset that it was the fourth single. It's not a bad song, I just think it sits in the lower end of the spectrum. Though I have been in love with a criminal. I make bad life choices when it comes to men.

Up N Down

This song makes me feel sexy. Like I'm about to hit the club and get all the boys. Except I hate clubs. And dancing. And loud music. I'm an old hag.

He About To Lose Me

Funny, I felt the exact way this song describes a year ago so it hits home hard at times. Love this song for its rawness and her rough sounding vocals.

Selfish

It's a bit of a strange song lyrically, but I think it's fun and I do enjoy blasting it in my car on the way to work.

Don't Keep Me Waiting

This reminds me of the music from the early 2000s, during my middle school years, and I have no problem with that. It's fun, fast-paced, and makes me want to jump up and down on my bed.

Scary

Tbh I still haven't listened to this song all the way through because ... well, I have no excuse, I just haven't.

1. Till the World Ends

I agree with a review saying it has anthemic nature. It sounds hypnotic and has a great flow, I love it and the video.

2. Hold It Against Me

I love how the verses are high paced and chorus is slowed down. The dubstep breakdown is the bomb. It combines so many styles but it works so well, great lead single

3. Inside Out

Pure sex, amazing beat, just flawless

4. I Wanna Go

It's pure of energy and I love the lyrics, they're kinda empowering

5. How I Roll

Cute little bop

6. Drop Dead Beautiful

Catchy beat and good to dance to, but bad lyrics, forced vocals, sabi :moorangu:

7. Seal It with a Kiss

I like it, but she also sounds kind of forced on this one like on DDB

8. Big Fat Bass

Worst song on FF and it's the beginning of her will.i.am collaborations :moorangu:

9. Trouble for Me

She sounds amazing on this one, even tho she's autotuned, will.i.am should take notes

10. Trip to Your Heart

I love Heaven on Earth and I love this one too, those two songs describe how I feel

11. Gasoline

It's a bop, but it's missing something

12. Criminal

I love the arrangements on this one and she actually sounds good, but there were better choices for a single (Inside Out :pieceofwhat: )

13. Up n' Down

Amazing dance track, should have been on the standard editon

14. He About to Lose Me

One of my favourites, I love it, but I don't like how she's in the background in the chorus

15. Selfish

Weakest of the bonus tracks, flop lyrics...

16. Don't Keep Me Waiting

Reminds me of Avril songs, I like Britney doing rock tho

17. Scary

It's one of her best Japan bonuses, I like it

I love FF :crying1:
