Does it give it views if the page is refreshed over and over again ?

back in 2006 when i had my own site i gave it a million views in 1 day just by doing auto refresher every 0.5 seconds and going to bed

 

but if its not going to work with youtube i wouldnt bother

No, it has to be watched start to end.... or at least halfway through, I'm not sure, I don't remember correctly

youtube doesn't count the replay if you play the video before 30 minutes or erase the cookies from your device.

Also, I read that youtube only takes into account till 300 replays for each IP

I can't swear it but that's what I read on the net.  And it makes sense, if Youtube brag of showing a verified amount of views, they have to have some control about autoplay.

So there is no need to logout do proxies or play the vid with sound on just make sure you have a playlist with slumber party another video and put it on reload in the yt playlist.

YouTube video count WILL increment when:

• You watch a video on youtube.com, as long as you don’t reload the video a bazillion times (particularly as it approaches 308 views).
• You watch an embedded video (using YouTube’s own HTML5 or Flash player) on another domain that requires you to hit play.

 

YouTube will NOT increment video count when:

• You watch an embedded video in a player that has autoplay enabled (video begins playing immediately on page load).
• You watch a video that is loaded through a proprietary player via the YouTube API.
