According to PopCrave SP will debut at #66 on BB Hot 100, which is ok considering it got no promo yet

Also during AMAs G commented saying "She's her! It was a legendary moment for me just to be able to be a part of that with somebody like her. To get to perform it on stage… the VMAs, I went out to her residency in Vegas. It was dope."

Longetivity is the key.

Slay Me jumped to the top then fell quick then jumped up post VMAs/discount sale then plummeted fast.

Exactly.
As long as we spend the rest of Nov/Dec. radio requesting the song (while enjoying random spurts of promo thanks to her Jingle Ball concerts coming up), January should see the single spike.

Sales don't mean much these days tbh, at least in terms of charting - It's all streaming & Radio.

I see a scream and shout type of chart run. well not as much of a big hit but a similar chart run (time frame).

s&s was also released in November but flopped on radio then spiked in Jan/Feb/March. people labeled s&s a flop at first.

The song is showing TTWE type of longevity on radio (building up slowly) but it's too early to decide now anyway.

Exactly. "Cheap Trills" by Sia also followed a similar suit and ended up at #1.
S&S ended up at #3....if we play this right, and don't give up on the single......we could get our Top 5 this era, which would ensure a 3rd single.

Plus, I have a feeling Slumber Party will be performed at the People's Choice Awards.

So I just read an article quoting this Tweet:

Yikes not even top 70 as it originally claimed to be! Does anyone know if this is only for Friday it debuted or for all of last week? I still have hope especially now that it's gaining airplay.

There is no need to worry.
This debut is based solely off TWO DAYS of Sales/Streaming (Weds single release, Thursday's video release)....IT IS NOT SP's 1st week of full sales/streams/radio, that will be next week's chart.

So we are pretty much guaranteed to see Slumber Party skyrocket. Just keep focusing on Radio Army!

Nope. These are solely based on Wednesday's official release to iTunes (Sales), and Thursday's sales & streams from it's video premiere.

Thursday (the day the video released) night, was the end of the charting period for that week.
Britney's first FULL week, will be next week's chart.

Charts go from Friday-Thursday and update the next Tuesday so its the full week.
