I agree, I love Criminal but it shouldn't have been a single. It doesn't represent the album at all. My choices would have been:

1. Hold It Againat Me

2. Till the World Ends

3. I Wanna Go

4. He About to Lose Me OR Inside Out

5. Up N' Down

yasssssss inside out shoulda been the third single IMO

and then either iwg or hir for the 4th single

Didn't everyone hate it when it came out? :uhwtf:

Not my favorite, but I like it.

No everybody loved it when it leaked from what I remember. They started hating on it when it wasn't selling

I would agree if the 3rd single didnt end up having to be released in the summer. IWG was perfect for summer

I think it's my favorite of hers since Blackout. FF > Circus > Britney Jean :howiroll:

Circus and FF rotate as to which I like more, but ultimately I think I like FF more

:crying5: (Even thought I've never even listened to that album so don't really get the reference. OOPS! )

I don't like Katy Perry. :overthis:

I mean that cause TD was produced by Dr Luke and Max Martin like most of FF

It was definitely a good year for music that years, you had every pop girl serving good catchy tunes for the club. I remember how awesome it felt to dance to "Hold It Against Me" and "Till The World Ends" in the club, even doing the choreo. Although, "I Wanna Go" was one of the best, sadly I just jumped up and down during it (thanks Britney) and I remember "Criminal" being played a lot as well, the crowds loved it. I think "Up N' Down" and "Big Fat Bass" were played occasionally. It was an album for clubs and having fun.

I'm just disappointed we only got four singles and songs like "Inside Out, Up N' Down, He About To Lose Me and Selfish" were never looked at for being singles after "Criminal" didn't do as hoped.

:what:

'11 was a strong year for female pop, and I know Blackout is heavily regraded as her best but Femme Fatale also jump started trends in music as well.  "Till the World Ends" playing at a club is complete euphoria, especially during the bridge.  "Hold it Against Me" was another satisfying club banger that made you wanna dance.

"Inside Out" really deserved to be a single too, there's a fan made remix that features Mike Posner that I'm obsessed with.   :werk:
