i know many will say im crazy or stuck in the past, but does anybody still believe that britney is still controlled? and i mean pretty controlled.. like what if i said she had no control over simple things (many still..) like her hair color ? wouldn't that be sad.. please dont get negative over this, i just really genuinely want to kno

Of course there's a certain image she needs to uphold for her "brand", it's simply the way the industry works. So there will always be an influence or "control" that the label and such have over her. However I think Britney is at the point now where she's probably going to do whatever the fuck she wants regardless... I mean, the c-ship seems to be mostly in name only, for the financial side of things. And let's be honest, she often looks a mess w/ unflattering makeup, ugly ass costumes and horrible choreography. If she were being forced to look or act a certain way, she'd be done up like she was 20 again.

She has to maintain her hair to a certain level when she performs or pops in places outside of POM because the press will pay attention and its bad for her brand if she looks a hot mess at major events. 

She does whatever she wants with her hair at POM because it's more intimate , the press doesn't actively cover all her performances there and she has more flexibility to be herself in a sense.

I feel like the conservatoship is mainly managing her finances, making sure she's keeping up with her doctors appointments and following whatever treatment plan they have in place so she can keep custody of the kids, and also making sure no one with bad intentions infiltrates her inner circle .

YOU KNOW WHAT i think i have finally figured out the reason behind all of that.. i have been a britney fan for all of my life.. you do not know how many hours i have spend following her life and identifying with her so much.. i have finally figured out why she does what she does. i will be making a post about it.. i am just waiting on something.. but it is something i am goina share and hope every britney fan knows.. THERE IS A REASON BEHIND ALL OF THAT. i cannot tell yet  but i am so glad i have figured it out... i will just say it is a certain person's influence on her life. a human being she looks up.. because she no longer identifies with sexy britney (well sometimes i know this..) but because of her life she isn't allowed to do many things. but that is part of what comes with her job.. 

i want to also say EVERYTHING SHE DOES IS ON PURPOSE. just like back in 2007 - this cool brit outspoken and in control, she is still that way. she doesnt half-ass anything  SHE IS INFLUENCED BY SOMEONE AND THAT IS THE DIRECTION SHE IS GOING FOR. i am seriously hoping my discovery starts a revolution in the britney army.. it iss oo soo crazy..

i will just leave this at that: you know how avril lavigne is different now? she used to be all goth and dark/ serous.. well now she is more like hilary duff. or kate hudson. that is the person she is but because of her label she is also keeping up with the whole 'punk' thing but not really feeling it... ? yeah also looks like she's half-assing it.. her heart is not in it cuz she had a change in herself.. but with britney, it's another influence and you won't belive.. i swear it's nothing you would ever expect .. i will be posting tomorrow i am so dead now i have work annd i have 3 hours left to sleep

I get the point you are making. i.e. That Britney knows exactly what they are doing in half assing stuff and are doing it to stay out of the public eye. Also that in 2007 she was trying to play the media and the attention in some way but it went badly wrong.

Its an interesting theory that I want to believe but I’m not sure if I do.

I dont think anybody is going to forbid her from coloring her hair black... She did that during circus era.

and she looks good on red carpets for herself not because she has to... Who the hell wants to look bad on purpose ?

 

she loves being blonde because blonde is the best and just like any job in the world thats not a work from home job... You have a dress code and you cant have dumb hair colors like purple or green because youre not a clown.

Shes a singer that was signed by her record label and given managment to do a job a singer/performer does so she needs to follow the protocol.

actually. NO . there's noo half assing.. there's a vision - A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT one on britney's part. she's the one who is contorlling all of that.. but it's very different from her usual things and the change in her began in 2007 actually... i figured out what went on in 2007. but because of her team, they aren't allowing that vision to come all the way through- the are making her keep up the image so it's always half way done.. it's not complete that's why it doesnt make sense to fans and why we are so frustrated with it all.. i really want to say all that it is but im actually worried if this could affect britney. after being a fan over a decade, this is one thing that took me this long to figure out and i am not sure if britney would be ok with it.. but believe me, all that is going on is all good. in britney world she is very happy with all things.. it's just seen from a completely differnt perspective

what if she PERMANENTLY wanted to dye them black.. there's no way the fans or her team would allow that.. actually i think she no longer identifies as a blonde in any way.. she is doing it for the fans and possibly from her team making her.. also what is your definition of looking bad? there are many different styles out there- what is yours ? becaue 'bad' is an opinion.. and i can say someone like 'robyn' sia or 'lady gaga' could be seen as looking bad on purpose but their fashion is one of my faves..

yea that part of course.. the head shaving too.. it was sad . i think it was her being so picked apart that it was almost like her wanting everyone to leave her because of how badly people reacted... but everything else about that year and actually many years after was not bad- it was different .. i know what 2007 was now.. but maybe i should keep to myself? SHE WAS JUST MISUNDERSTOOD and she DID NOT deserve what she got.. i think it was really bad on her self esteem but that year is no longer a mystery to me

I dunno, I'm having a hard time following all of your clues, so I don't really know what you're trying to say.

All I know is that as a person with a mental illness myself (bipolar disorder), I see a lot of things I went through and things I did before my diagnosis and during my breakdown, in the things Britney went through and things she did in 2007. It may be projecting a bit, but I really relate to her and like to think I understand SOME of what she went through. I also feel like I understand the slowness and the hiccups in her recovery, because I've been there myself also.

That's really what celebrity is about, tbh. We all project our thoughts, hopes, fears, loves, hates onto them, and none of us know the truth about what they go through. No one except Britney will ever know exactly what happened.
