Very upset but I respect her decision. I understand this is the easiest option for her lifestyle and for her kids. She's been really happy lately so I guess I am happy for her.   Totally fee

I had been caring only about her music for a while and this year I was getting my hopes up that with all of these festivals and stuff and started watching shows and thought POM would end but NO they fucking decide to continue the residency! It was okay for a while, now please this should stop!

Totally feel for the international fans who can't afford a trip out to Vegas. :(

 

She should at least squeeze in a mini international tour.

Quite sad. I was hoping her festivals would be the start of her touring again. 

I think they have the wrong info, cuz I read the article from the Taylor Swift's 1989 world tour and they had wrong info too... soo I don't think so :4music:

EEEEEEEEK! ugh i guess. Britney isnt really putting the career aspect FIRST anymore she has priorities, her health, time with her kids while they're still young and just enjoying life, she deserves it. I honestly think if she had a diff team even if she still made that decision they could make it work without having people dread it. Such as....

Changing the setlist more than 50%

ALL new costumes

shooting a televised show for DVD

and doing the new show in selected cities and documenting it like how she did with "Britney All night" and she performed at diff clubs and have it premier on HBO, ABC, E!, Bravo...something

Keep releasing videos and singles 

 

Things like that would allow fans to NOT feel like we're stuck in the vegas era. But fans will most likely react negatively BECAUSE we know her team wont be doing these lol

she cant sell albums/singles nor reach the youtube stats other relevant singers and even vloggers reach easily.

she cant sell out an tour especially with albums that nobody knows exist because she cant chart properly even with massive promo.

 

so truth be told...its either her staying in vegas or her not performing at all ever...

I'm gonna be very honest here, if this is true I would actually be happy. First of all, if she finished her Vegas residency I can assure you that she'd take the longest break and this forum would be more dead than ever. Imagine if the only thing we could talk about for years was her uploading a new google images meme to instagram, with POM at least we have her on stage every few weeks and we can talk about her new choreographies, her costumes... Also, even if she went on tour and she came to my country I wouldn't have the money to go and see her, you know? I have to pay bills, university fees, etc. and for me spending some hundreds of euros would be as unthinkable as booking a flight to Vegas, so for me (and I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation) it doesn't make a difference where she is performing. Now, in 2016 she has proved that she can have a Vegas residency AND consistently promote and do many side projects, which is the thing that worried us the most from 2013 to 2015, so even though I could understand that some people would get upset in my case another extension would not make me ooh meltdown or anything :imfab:

So yeah, wait for the news to be confirmed and then express your opinion all that you want, but keep it civile and don't get nasty like you always do. K, thnks, bye :byebitch:

It's not fair to say that .. the promo around glory wasn't really good enough  ! The vma's with the cd playing and the performance was so basic .. if she has done a really good performance without the " me myself " part and with prerecord track glory could have Charted well ! But who cares we love the album and that's good enough but don't tell that she can't sell album anymore if she wanted to she could have make glory number one on the  chart !

True or not, i wouldn't be surprised.

A bit dissapointed, sure I am because I want to see her on stage but can't afford POM

 

If she stays in Vegas, I hope a brand new show (but I doubt it).
And good albums + okay performances

 

I still love her music and i feel so blessed to have known Britney in her prime but I don't expect more of current britney anymore :crying3:

My thoughts are that this is probably true. We know the show is going to the end of 2017. I would not be surprised if she announced towards the end of 2017 that the show would continue for another year or two. It's stable income for her without the stress and expense of traveling. Due to her inability to get radio/chart success lately, her team probably doesn't want to risk the cost of a full blown tour? Or maybe with her next album the show will change from a legacy/greatest hits show to a show where it's mostly music from her most recent albums? It would be like having a new tour but just in one location lol. 

 

Probably won't get a POM DVD for years from now. :crying1:

This is only a rumor. I hope it's not true but I wouldn't be surprised. 

 

Vegas was great for her, but it really should have only gone 2 or 3 years max. After that maybe she should take a year totally off of she needs to rest, then do a full new album with world tour. 

 

It's hard to say what can "fix" her career, but while Vegas was good in the short run, going through 2019 is too much of a good thing.

Maybe she will stay in Vegas (there are positive and negative aspects about it!) ...

 

but it at least I want an official DVD right now! They promised it! Her body is on point and Godney is rocking on stage! #pomdvd :thinkingpinky:
