Damn such a shame! He is profiting off his daughter while he sits around scratching his ass. :displeased: Godney can take her own medication.

Quote

Her father, 63, is responsible for her physical well-being — making sure she takes her medicine, for example — and manages her estate. He shares the financial oversight with Mr. Wallet, who specializes in conservatorships and probate law.

Mr. Spears takes in about $130,000 a year as a conservator and is also reimbursed for the rent on an office he uses. His bills are reviewed and approved by the judge. He has sought only modest increases over the years, though he also requested 1.5 percent of gross revenues from the performances and merchandising tied to Ms. Spears’s Las Vegas show.

why does he get a cut from the residency exactly? :disagreewitchu:

I read it some time ago...yes - her lawyer, doctor and FATHER still gets her money and that's the reason why is still under conservatorship. They can make her 'crazy' with fake diagnosis.

Spoiler

For example I saw on yesterday one episode of Hercule Poirot and there was one woman who was under control of hypno doctor and he makes her with hypnosis so weak and helpless. So they just did this still after 10yrs only because of money...

Regardless if he's her father or not, he works for Britney and deserves to get paid for it. I don't understand why fans are so concerned with her money. It's weird.

Yes, his job is pretend to be her father, it's very difficult job :oh:

I didn't question why he gets compensated for the conservatorship but I don't see why he gets a percent of the revenue from the residency :frenchy:

Does he??? :waitWAT:

and if he does do something relevant to the residency, how does it make him entitled to a percent rather than a flat payment? :frenchy:

There's plenty that go on behind the scenes we'll never know about. 1.5% is barely anything.

Well...it seems to me like he works hard for her. AND to be honest, I think he is part of the reason she is doing so well and is so healthy I don't see anything wrong with whatever arrangement they have, as long as Britney is comfortable with it.

Maybe in 2008...but check what he did with her between 2011-2013/-now she was totally delusional in interviews.

As much as we try to forget, Britney's parents are show parents. They groomed both daughters from a young age to be celebrities, so the fact that they still are cashing in isn't surprising. BUT that being said, we have seen way worse in the industry. ex: Kris Jenner, Dina Lohan. At least her parents are putting her best interests first and the money second.
