Things I Hate About Listening to Glory on Vinyl

OK, so I've been jamming to some records lately. Of course, my girl Britney's record (only fucking album on record btw) is always spinning. But there's shit that annoys me.

 

Divided Tracks -- OK, so if you've ever listened to a record, the fact that the album's tracks are divided up into different records and sides isn't new. But if I only want to listen to one side, sometimes I don't want to listen to those four. Like, side one is perfection, and so is four. My fave, Love Me Down, is surrounded by tracks that aren't nearly as good (Hard to Forget Ya).

 

I don't wanna hurt my baby -- I paid bank for the fan edition. The records are thick af and I love it. Seriously considering buying the original record cuz idc nearly as much if I break that. (Sorry @HeadstrongWolf btw, RIP Glory 2016-2016 )

I dont understand anything about what you are talking about  I'm very confused...

 

Is it that Love Me Down is divided with tracks that you dont want to listen to? or is it that you hate that your favorite songs are not put together?

Tell me like - if one side have 35mins...so why Glory album have 2x vinyl inside and not one disc?

Sound quality...

 

And tbh not skipping tracks is part of the whole vinyl listening experience. If you're fussy about that sort of thing, why even bother with it? Just listen to the CD or digital versions.

You're right! This is why I would never by a vinyl. And because I want to listen to music on shuffle, so I don't even use my albums for other than copying the music to digital version on my PC, phone and MP3. Plus I like to have physical albums to keep on display in my room

Love Me Down may be my favorite song on all of Glory. But JLikeM, HTFY (hate), and WYN are all just OK. If I only want to listen to a side at a time, I can't ever listen to this side. I'm busy as fuck, I usually can never listen to a whole album unless its at night.

Sound quality. I'm OK with the fact that only four or so songs are on a record. It sounds so much better. But yeah, it's SUPER convenient to have one record with the whole CD on it!!

I have to this all the time and sometimes it does get to me. Like with Confessions, Glory & Unbreakable

I grew up listening to CDs, so the album order actually meant a lot to the record. I still love CDs and records for that reason.
