Besides the fact that the story is Britney's life and characters are real, lot of scenes were "made up" for the movie. It's written at the end of the movie anyway "some events have been compresssed , reoganized or fictionalized for purposes of dramatization". But it's not that bad tbh, actually i thought it was fine just like some kind of other teenage movies. Sure as a fan i cringed at some parts but considering the budget, production and all i was expecting something waaaay worse than what it is, i just put aside the fact it was supposed to be a biopic and as i said saw it more like an inspired movie so that's why i'm not too hard on it. 1

I wish I would've done this because holy hell. It was actually worse than I was expecting. The made up scenes based on verifiable facts (JUST GOOGLE THE UMBRELLA SCENE FOR CHRISSAKES) drove me crazy. Also so that Natasha Bennett girl was ter-ri-ble. Just tragic. I don't think anyone in Lifetime movies is a good actor, but she just lowered the bar for me tbh.

The actors weren't THAT bad imo, but Natasha really exaggerated with the accent. I think she did good the first half, second half was messy there's some moment she really looked crazy.

She was always a silly pretty rediculous , not very bright and childish like rich southern girl from 2000 until the meltdown started (which was allowed to start because her personality had too big of gaps from preventing it). Same goes for Justin they had no substance until they matured so there shouldnt be any expectations for proper acting... They were literally high school teens... Thats why act that are 'bubblegum' are not in anymore...ppl want teens with strong values that stand for something big (and whores like kylie but thats different because Britney was never a social whore)

That's funny because I liked her acting better in the second half lol! Different strokes for different folks. I used to be a big fan of Lifetime movies (and still am in a weird way ... ) and I thought she was one of the worst I've seen on there. I almost feel bad for her tbh.

I don't think that the movie shows a bad side from Britney, but it shows how all the people around her tried to control her, and how much overwhelming it was for her. I expected the movie to be a nasty criticism about Brit, but it wasnt. Even I liked it a bit during a few moments. The worst is the actress...omg, wasn't there any other girl who knows dancing a bit and who was a bit more similar to Brit?
