Yup, it was as bad as I thought it would, but there was something that really really REALLY made me mad. I'm not even gonna get into how inaccurate most of the movie was because the thing that bothered me the most was how a 90% of the film was about her dating life. I mean, she's one of the most powerful women in the industry, even since she debuted she kept achieving incredible milestones until she became the pop legend that she is now, and yet the movie didn't focus on any of that, like, according to them Britney's entire life was related to her relationship with Justin Timberlake. I know I'm not supposed to be surprised because we all knew that this was gonna be bad, but I don't know, it sucks that they potrayed her this way, Britney is not just the men she dated.

My best friend who I would not call a Britney Spears fan (she doesn't hate her, just not a fan like I am) said the same thing last night, how she felt it was insulting the way the portrayed the JT/Britney interactions. We both hated how they made JT about to be the super great, "I'm such a good person" character, but that's mainly because we both hate JT haha.

Exactly, the way they made it seem like she was obsessed with him was awful. We all know that he was a big part of her life, but he was not the center of her universe, like, do they seriously think that all she could think about after the VMA's was how "bad" she looked in front of Justin? She had bigger concerns at the time!

there is so much material to talk about Britney in a movie

-show brit as a kid when she was showing interest in singing and dancing

-MMC

-when britney traveled to New York alone for her casting

-when she heard BOMT on the radio for the first time

-Britney meeting her idol Madonna

- her impact in the music industry

- how the paparazzis stalk her

-2007 as britney explained it in For the record

any way the list goes on and on, they didnt even care about making a decent movie.:displeased:

instead of Britney ever after they should have name it Justiney:4music:

It was so cringe worthy....worse than I thought....

-The fact that the Britney could not dance at all...like its Britney Spears, she needs to know how to dance.

- the interactions were awkward and then trying to tie in Britney puns ( the oops, the poor accent....her bad lip syncing.

- The fact that her songs weren't used at all made even more worse

- how they jump abruptly through her story

its all just a mess

Yes, I totally agree with you, that's exactly my point! I wouldn't have minded the low budget and how inaccurate the movie was if it had focused more on her career and her achievements, but instead the film was all about her dating life and "how in love she is with love", which apparently for the scrip writters was another way of saying that she is obsessed with men. A total mess :lykeokyea:

Honestly if there was a serious biopic about Britney and i honestly think there should be....It would be VERY dramatic and should be in theatre's or n HBO special movie, etc Her story marks a very GLORIOUS yet dark plot and they really need to go there with a lot. like listed above theres just so much to really cover in detail. especially for MMC, ALL her major award performances! Slave, Oops, The Kiss, 07 VMA etc.
