It's kind of pointless, but I enjoy looking at artists' review roundups and ratings on Metacritic and of course I had to check out Britney's. Surprisingly Glory did not end up being her highest rated album based on this site:

71 Glory Aug 26, 2016 Primary Artist 8.5
50 Britney Jean Dec 3, 2013 Primary Artist 5.8
67 Femme Fatale Mar 29, 2011 Primary Artist 7.3
64 Circus Dec 2, 2008 Primary Artist 8.0
61 Blackout Oct 30, 2007 Primary Artist 8.3
66 In The Zone Nov 18, 2003 Primary Artist 8.0
58 Britney Nov 6, 2001 Primary Artist 7.2
72 Oops!... I Did It Again May 16, 2000 Primary Artist 7.6

I am not sure why BOMT is missing (quite a few older artists don't have their first few albums listed). For anyone not familiar, numbers to the left are an aggregate of critic ratings, numbers to the right are users.

And for comparison's sake (and just to be petty/goofy), Xtina's:

56 Bionic Jun 8, 2010 Primary Artist / Primary Artist 8.0
69 Back To Basics Aug 15, 2006 Primary Artist 8.9
55 Stripped Oct 29, 2002 Primary Artist 8.6
56 Mi Reflejo Sep 12, 2000 Primary Artist 7.7
56 Lotus Nov 13, 2012 Primary Artist

Stripped was way better than Bionic and Back to Basics tho (I'm hoping her next album is great because her mediocrity is so annoying and confusing tbh)

Blackout and In the zone need to be higher on this list.

It was surprising to me that critics weren't fans of Stripped. I think it's her best album and is still pretty strong. I think Christina's career was mismanaged tbh. She should've have had a much more successful career in music than she has had.

Oh yes definitely. I know as Britney fans we often question what's wrong with her team and label in terms of her promotions and single choices but christina has been having a rough go of it since burlesque. Idk what happened and it boggles my mind that JT who I happen to like btw has seemingly been given a fairer shot at success when you see what exactly christina and Britney have put themselves through and they are honestly much more interesting to me, but yet they kinda get crumbs compared to him in terms of love and sales. Xtina definitely had 2 more singles left on stripped and Bionic, even the lotus album *let there be love" should have gotten official video treatment and she hasn't toured since BTB. We already know what opportunities were missed with Britney. At the end of the day any lack of success on their parts is mostly because of RCA  (which may be why Christina is rumored to have left for universal)
