What if they say "oh sure, you're mic is on all the time, it's just some playback when you need it". It's not that long ago since she said, in a radio interview, that she always sings while performing, but that it's not always that great. She likes doing what she's told, and feels comfortable with that. So would she really question it? Would she be like Eh.. y'all... you know.. do people.. like.. hear me during the shows? Do I.. like.. totally lipsync all the time? Her team has nothing to lose with her lipsyncing, but a lot to win with it. She didn't say how much is her actual vocals and how much is the playback she didn't say when exactly she's live and when she's on playback she didn't even say that it was for the current tour just said its a mixture of playback and vocals. I know in the past I've seen people put posts up here that says "oh my god I'm pretty sure she's live and this one part" and I know for sure the last time she was truly detectably live was during the Femme Fatale tour so you can't really question her too much she told the truth. It makes sense to me tbh I could believe that was true if I didn't know that vocalists get ear pieces so they're supposed to be able to hear themselves. Plus we've seen videos of her drop the mic or her stop mouthing and the track keeps going and she's well aware so I think she does know when she's live. I think it's more like she's live for very specific parts and then not live for like 95% of it. Either way some trickery is happening. I'm not mad at it cuz I've been a fan of hers since 1999 and the only time she has ever been mostly 100% live was during the first promo round for Baby One More Time. After that everything was a mix of vocals and playback and as time goes on it's more playback than vocals. My theory on that is that she has lost some endurance and it's probably because the choreography became more challenging as she continued performing and then after she stopped doing challenging choreography age just got the best of her and she's out of practice with singing live a majority of the time. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It makes sense to me tbh Well during the FFT she was singing a large amount of the time, but her mic would turn on and off at random intervals. It's weird. But it honestly seems like she's not singing at all in Vegas and she must know cause she watches her shows back to posts bits on social media. Also the million times she's knocked her mic off, or her mic isn't turned on when she's supposed to be talking to the crowd, or she forgets to lift the mic to her mouth or she doesn't move her mouth at all. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
