But I think both Britney and Kevin are great parents. Just look at their kids, they look like normal kids. And that's the most important.

I remember reading in 2008 that it was a 60/40 split, in Kevin's favor. But it eventually worked up to 50/50, and by the end of her Circus tour, it seemed like she had them a lot. I thought I also read somewhere that she'll get them three nights one week and four nights the next week, which is a pretty common 50/50 split.

 

I read Kevin had sole legal custody at one point, but I don't know if that's still true.

Usually kids are with the mother and specially cases like that when she is the one that earns the money,but remember that she lost custody of the kids in 2007. Now that she has her live back on track she have them 50%

Where in the world are you guys getting this joint custody 50/50 from? Hello!!! Britney is in a c ship. Kevin has full legal custody but Kevin lets her see them a lot so although it may seem and fell like joint custody it is legally not

My understanding is that Kevin has 100% full legal custody

but the boys are able to spend 50% of their time with Kevin and 50% with Britney

I don't see how Britney has the boys 50% of the time but can't legally make decisions for them. Major decisions, like medical or dental care, where they go to school, etc... not the little decisions. I imagine she doesn't have legal custody on paper, but I would hope Kevin consults with her on major decisions regarding the boys.

From what I head with Britney it's the opposite. Kevin has 100% legal custody but Britney ends up with 50/50 with her having them more during School breaks and she likes to pick them up from school on the days Kevin has them so she can see them nearly everyday.

Kevin has the sole legal custody. Britney only has visitation rights but they are very extended so that in the end she has them more often than Kevin.
