No hate please but I really don't like the song. Personally I think it's overrated and it didn't deserve to be a single especially when we had "Love Me Down" or "Better". For me it's the weakest song on "Glory". I wish Britney had "Me, Myself & I" featuring G-Eazy instead of "Make Me". Rumor has it, BURNS (producer of "Make Me") is working on B10 with Brit-Brit. I hope it won't sound like it. And I'm still kinda pissed about the scrapped video, really curious about what happened between the director and Godney. I'm soooooooo ready for a new buzz single and a music video!! :omg:

Love the song, however, I wouldn’t have chose it as a first single, I feel something upbeat should always be the first.

As for the video, I’m fine with what we got, sure it’s boring but she still looks sexy but without looking trashy. From what we saw of the original, i don’t see how it would fit with the song.

I go up and down on my feelings on it tbh. Some days I love it, other days I’m like “eh.” And I’m in the camp of not liking the clips from the original music video that we have. That looked trashy and pointless. The video we got isn’t knocking anyone’s socks off, but it’s not terrible.

Her videos used to have their own stories and I miss those days. I hate the fact that she's like "I'm a mom now" but then we have videos like "Make Me", "Criminal" etc. I want Deepney back. Music & videos with soul and story.

I love the song but it was the wrong choice for a first single. I also don't mind the video at all, what we've seen of the "original" makes me appreciate what we got even more. The original made her look like straight up trash, and Britney's always been classy sexy not trashy sexy.

I love the song but as a lead single  I think that "Love Me Down" or "Better" or any other bop on "Glory" should have been the lead. IDK if "Make Me" should have been a single or not though because now I'm comparing it to the other songs on "Glory" :awkward:

LMD is one of the weakest songs on Glory. Make Me has a much more sophisticated and nicer instrumental, composition, and it's much more chill and shows off her angelic falsettos. It was the clear lead single. :flawless:
