X-Ander Posted September 30, 2019 #1 Report Posted September 30, 2019 During a recent interview AJ McLean spoke of his childhood, recalling a beautiful blast from the past: It was 1992, at the time AJ McLean was 14 and lived in Orlando in the same apartment with Britney Spears and Ryan Gosling. So far nothing new, Britney and Ryan (at the time respectively 11 and 12 years old) were involved in the Disney program "The Mickey Mouse Club" and AJ took the first steps in a new boyband that will then be called "Backstreet Boys". AJ and Ryan were very close friends and played basketball every day together in the pitch below their apartment. What AJ revealed for the first time is that in that same pitch he exchanged one of his first kisses with Britney Spears! Obviously, as we know, no love story was ever born between them (also because then she became engaged to Justin Timberlake - also involved in "The Mickey Mouse Club" with her) but since then they have always remained very good friends, so much so that Britney also inspired and encouraged the Backstreet Boys to embark on a residency in Las Vegas in 2017! Britney and BSB have always been my favorite artists ever, I was very pleased to read this news (thanks BSB Italy ) 2 1

I don't care about their "talent" I care about their attitudes and both of them are assholes who've used Britney to further their careers. That's not the type of "artist" Britney should be working with. 1

That's not the type of "artist" Britney should be working with. I think CA explained why she was back in early 2000s shady and actually supports Britney. It's normal if one artist supports other artist. At some point these collabs are expected from them since they came to showbiz. And if you check out late 90s JT was popular before Britney started her career and she started with performing at their concerts. So we can say she "used" that time his popularity for promo herself. It's been 20years, I want move on from this shit.

Justin was popular because he was in a boyband, Justin solo would be nothing without his connection and use of Britney, period. And no, she didn't use his popularity, she never exploited him or their relationship, opening for people on tour is part of the business. You can expect whatever you want, doesn't mean other people do or have to be ok with it. 1
