TBH I really don't understand why so many fans had their hopes set on this bill. It wouldn't have been make or break for Britney. I doubt she would have hired some different lawyer being this far in and with some obvious plan in place. Besides, conservatees can already hire their own lawyers if they're deemed able to do so.

Reality is, we don’t know shit about what they’re doing, most of it we’re just guessing,  sure we were told she wants Jamie gone, well then where’s the official paperwork requesting it??? That should have been submitted last year. It just doesn’t make sense the way shit is happening. It’s really not shocking that fans would get excited over something that could possibly make things easier for her to fight this.

To me it's very obvious Britney and her side have a strategy in place. Nothing will make ending this easy for Britney, including the possibility that she could hire a different lawyer. If that was suddenly an option, like I said, I don't see her hiring someone new and starting this all over again. Hiring a new lawyer would be a giant step backward, they'd have to familiarize themselves with 12 years of her case. But, if she wanted a new lawyer, she  didn't need this bill. She could get an actual capacity declaration, prove she's capable of hiring a lawyer (and likely that she doesn't need a conservatorship at all) and get it done that way. Her lawyer in the beginning of this, Streisand I think? failed her. And who knows, maybe Britney will tell the judge just that. That she wants a new lawyer, that she wants Jamie gone, that she wants to end the personal conservatorship. THAT is a true win for Britney. Being able to speak directly to the judge. But fans putting so much hope on this bill, like if it was passed Britney would have got a different lawyer and be free quicker— it was foolish, wishful thinking.

Yeah, I think it was Streisand, he should have pushed harder and fought to see what was in that medical report that the judge refused to show him. Everyone involved in that cship has failed her.

Sadly, I don’t think whatever she says to the judge is gonna do anything, unless she submits the paperwork needed to do what it is she wants to do because she’s spoken to the judge before and her words clearly weren’t enough.
