I'm so upset right now. I really hope he'll come back tomorrow and that he's still in the same area. We've had him for nearly 9 years and I'll be devastated if he doesn't return

Oh I saw that article and a few others like it. I've put his cage closer to where he can easily see it and put some food out for him

Sorry to hear that. Maybe it will come back, just leave something outside to attract him. Two of my birds flew away so I never got any more.

He's a rainbow lorikeet. It's night time now so he's probably sleeping somewhere. Can only keep trying in the morning and hope he'll come back.
