You just have to keep an eye out because I now have 20 dolls and I can tell you I've never spent more than $15 on one. Most of them I've gotten were around 4-7 dollars a piece.

Usually they're unboxed (I prefer them that way tbh so I don't get tempted to unbox them) but the shitty ones I've bought for like $2 I've done reroots on and made them ooak outfits. I got a boxed Pepsi doll a few weeks ago for like $5 and I just bought a VMA doll for like 9. The one that comes with the sometimes keychain that plays music. You just have to keep an eye out

Ooak means "One of a kind" look them up, some are flawless! So, say you want a Gimmie More doll. Well they stopped making Britney dolls I think in 2003. Well, basically what you do is make your own custom one. Some people get really detailed and like, paint the faces of the dolls & airbrush makeup on them and everything. A reroot is when the hair on the doll is messed up behind repair, or you want the doll to have a different hair color. You cut all the hair off the doll, and use a special needle (very easy to make tbh) and reroot hairof your choosing back in. I buy synthetic weave from Sally Beauty Supply for super cheap. I highly suggest you look up some of them!
