But in my case is more a thing of my childhood, you know? I grew up with Britney (and Pokémon) and back in the day there were many other artists, not just Britney, but she was the only one that lasted all these years. I've liked her since BOMT, and I was 5 years old when that happened. Everybody loved her, kids, teenagers, adults, boys and girls. She was universal and not a gender exclusive. After the breakdown, in the real world where I live, everybody forgot about her. I don't know what's the situation on USA or other countries, but the only thing I could notice was on the internet, and I started to see that all of her fan sites and stuff were ruled by gay people, like the majority of other pop acts. So I resigned. And for many years I went to BreatheHeavy to know about the latest news but never created an account until last year. I was ashamed of doing so. But I've changed my mind because I met a friend that's transgender, so I changed all my perspective about people with different sexual orientation, so I don't judge or categorize people because of that matter. And I noticed people in here (well Exhale ) were very funny, and actually you can't tell if they're girls or boys or straight or gay, because on the internet you can be the character you want to be. I decided not to hide, and at the beginning I wanted to make people in these forums to realize there are not only gay fans of Britney, but straights too, and girls too (and that Blackout is not her best album) but I just gave up on that. It's useless. And it doesn't matter. They can think whatever they want. But if they ask me I'll answer with the truth. And in my real world, well, people close to me wouldn't even remember Britney if it wasn't for me. Most of them think she's dead, or something. So they can't even make fun of me, because they don't know what is she doing, or "what kind of fanbase" she has. But most of them always make nice comments when they see my desktop backgrounds on my laptop and ask me if that hot girl is Britney Spears Particularly, I'm not fan of any kind of music that's not Britney Spears or that doesn't belong to that period from 1999-2001 (yes I live trapped on the past) I do like other songs, but the songs in particular, not a whole genre or all the music from one artist (that's not Britney). I'm open to any kind of new music, give it a chance, and if I like it good, if not, doesn't matter.

I really don't like the labels put on fanbases on the outside world,is just stupid. Majority doesn't mean "whole". But I know what I am and I don't really care what people think of me or even about her ('cause they think it's fun and smart to criticize brinny,don't know why) and that's what matters Glad to see I'm not Alone (promoting Alien tbh)
