Alien - about being lonely like an alien, I can really relate to the song

Work Bitch - encouraging me to work hard and keep on moving higher

Perfume - really personal, about feeling insecure

It Should Be Easy, Body Ache and TTB are not personal. :4music:

Til It's Gone is about not appreciating sth until it's gone

Passenger is not personal in my opinion, though probably other people can relate to it

Chillin With You is one of the most personal! I love it. The lyrics don't have much depth, but they are personal because it is amazing to chill with family, friend (it's lthe Jamie Lynn and Britney duet, of course it's personal)

Don't Cry is an emotional ballad, might be personal

I'm not sure about Brightest Morning Star and Hold On Tight... I guess they are personal for Britney, but I'm not feeling it :yaknow:

Now That I Found You is really personal, it's about losing the hate and celebrating love!

Perfume (Dreaming Mix) supports Perfume's personal lyrics with its acoustic sound.

I was going to bring my reply from the other site here as a thread but I'll post it here :yesplz:

In many ways every song Britney records is personal since she's a vibe artist. We get so much from even the songs she chooses because she enjoyed them or was excited to work with the producer. I believe Britney Jean is the first album where she set down with song writers or worked on song lyrics where ever to create songs that are personal. (At least since Britney. Though a lot of that was actually for Lucy but Lucy and Britney were a lot a like). I know you guys don't get the merits of that but she was choosing and creating songs because they were personal for the first time in a long time. Other times she writes songs because they just happened or because she wanted to impress as an artist. Other times someone created a biographical song that moved her enough to record.

This was a different process for her. Rather it was successful really will be determined on what she took from the process on to the next. She's always trying new things and making different albums.

aww I loved reading all of this! Totally agree on HOT. It's such a hopeful-sounding song but when you really look into it imo, it's dark and depressing

Some reviewers have said BJ is not personal

I call bullshit!

Now, I'll give EVERY track on BJ an explaining on why it actually is personal

-Alien

Britney has always felt a bit crowded, but alone in her life as a superstar.

-Work Bitch

Britney has always had to work for what she has earned as a superstar. Now she is telling us to do the same if we ever even want to get close to what she all has accomplished

-Perfume

This is about her love life and how she thought a certain ex-boyfriend of Britney was cheating on her. She had to make sure he'd stay hers, but was it making her go a bit paranoid? This probably let to the end of a certain relationship in her life

-It Should Be Easy

Britney's love life has been anything but easy. In this song she says how love shouldn't be so hard, since it's a beautiful thing

-Tik Tik Boom

Britney likes the D

-Body Ache

This is about Britney the dancer. She is doing her best since ever on the dance floor and it shows.

-Til It's Gone

I don't know everything about Britney's life, but who couldn't relate to such a song? You really never know what you got til it's gone. She could be talking about a certain boyfriend or even fame itself

-Passenger

This is the album Britney has taken a seat in the car that drives on the road to the finish of the album. It's a step she has never taken before, and this song is dedicated to it

-Chillin' With You

Her love for her family and especially her sister shows in this song. It was her idea to put it on the album, and it's a song that she and Jamie Lynne wrote together.

-Don't Cry

Good things always come to an end, but Britney doesn't want to see people cry. They gotta stay strong!

Who are those people? Maybe her fans? She is going to Vegas for 2 years after all, or are they someone else?

-Brightest Morning Star

Britney has always been a strong believer in Christanity, and this song was bound to happen. In her she exclaimes her love for Jesus, saying how he gives her hope and life.

-Hold On Tighte

This is probably a song to David. He needs to hold on tight and not let go of Britney. She must love him dearly and it shows on candids

-Now That I Found You

Finally David, you have met Britney

-Perfume (dreaming remix)

Britney has gotten a new boyfriend and is ready to set the next step in her career, but she'll always wonder if 'he' was cheating on her or not. So maybe she's still dreaming about it...

Anyway, hope that people who didn't see how this is her most personal album can now see how it actually is

My interpretation:

Alien - The rumors of Britney being an alien really got to her, so she made a song about it

Work Bitch - Dedicated to Larry and Adam

Perfume - Promo for her billion dollar fragrance line

It Should Be Easy - Love should be easy

Tik Tik Boom - She wants David, his D

Body Ache - Brit singing about the toll that her 6-7 hours days are taking on her body

Til It's Gone - Throwback anthem to Justin

Passenger - A song about Britney reflecting what it was like to be a passenger after her license got taken away

Chillin' With You - Song to Jamie about being able to see her at Christmas since she couldn't make it to Thanksgiving

Don't Cry - Britney warning the Army about BJ's first week sales
