Everytime Posted June 21, 2014 #1 Report Posted June 21, 2014 ALIEN APPRECIATION ~ MY FAVE BRITNEY SONG EVER~ Standout on Britney Jean~ flawless demo/remixesThe demo version is my fave, and that Country Club Martini Crew Acoustic remix which came out last week is a very close second. I like the album version okay, but not as much as the others. Doesn't capture the raw feel of this amazing track I remember when I first heard the song very early one morning, I nearly burst into tears. I was so blown away by the demo vocals Okay, so first let me say how much I love this song. It is so beautiful. I know Britney is capable of amazing things, but it can't believe she wrote this and released it. It speaks to me so much, and it is a definite standout on the 'Britney Jean' album and in my opinion it is the best song on the album. The melody is so clear, catchy, and perfect for pop radio as a Britney mid-tempo, in my opinion. The lyrics mean so much to me. I sometimes am very introverted and whenever I feel out of place or whenever someone is mean to me for whatever the reason, I can always turn on this song and even though it is very sad, it makes me feel better. Also, to know Britney loves the song and says it is her favorite off of her most personal album ever, means a lot to me tbqh. the song always makes me feel better when I'm down, and amazing when I'm happy! It is such a timeless masterpiece and is by far one of the biggest gems of Britney's career. Although it would make a great single, maybe it's good to keep this one hidden even though it is beautiful and (fun fact) my favorite Britney song ever.
