see but i dont think thats fair. what blackout might lack in personal feeling and or messages in lyrics, it has in production and layout. britney was executive producer for the album and she had such a big role in putting together the producers, songs, vibe, tracklist, etc. then when you consider how blackout had such a huge impact on the music industry really putting electro/dance pop into the forefront of pop music, its hard to ignore how big that record is. still though, i cant choose between the albums lol theyre both so good

Oh yes I am very happy for how the record influenced music and was ahead of the time it was in. I will def give Blackout that :). i think if it was released at a better time in her life ( I know not her fault or anyone shit happens ) It would have been twice as epic.

In The Zone. Sensual and vulnerable. I love the 'organic' touches that the songs have.. the album is kinda mystical.

Blackout is a great party album, but that's where it ends for me.. I prefer the substance ITZ offers. :uhhuh:

In The Zone :xf7:

I was interested in her from Baby One More Time to In The Zone and again since Femme Fatale. I didn't buy Blackout and Circus. I did worry about her and see the Gimme More VMA performance, but from Do Something until Hold It Against Me I wasn't interested. Now I have Blackout and I enjoy it, especially Gimme More, Piece Of Me and Break The Ice, but I hate a few songs like Get Naked and Radar

Me Against The Music, Toxic, Everytime and Shadow are much better than almost every Blackout song for me.
