ALIEN, THE TRACK YOU PRODUCED FOR BRITNEY, OPENS HER LATEST ALBUM AND IT SETS A WONDERFUL VIBE. DON’T YOU THINK THAT THE REST OF IT IS A BIT OF A LET DOWN?

 

 

For some reasons, nobody can really understand these things; she just has that special ‘thing’. If you listen to the remix of Alien I recently uploaded, it’s more indie pop and I did it for fun but hey, listen to that voice! It’s special. I wish I had the chance to do what I can do for her, she deserves to be given a chance. My specialty with artists is to make it seem like we’re not working. I try to let me understand that if I’m smiling, it means I’m happy with what we’ve just recorded; it means they touched my soul. When artists unconsciously bring this out, I’m the happiest man in the world. I’m slow to make a record, you probably wouldn’t hire me if you had to have something done by tomorrow but when it comes to be in the studio and recording vocals, everything runs quickly and  it’s  fun. I know what I  want technically and what I can work on later, so there is no point for the artist to do it over and over. I’m not talking about auto-tune but rather about spontaneity; that something great and special.

This is probably why the Naughty Boy stuff didn't happen. He and Orbit were supposed to work together on another Britney song. Orbit moves slow. They probably were depending on that Orbit/NB song but we get Body ache instead.

And does someone notice that many people involved in this album have constantly complained about the treatment they got?That's really annoying but hey,it may show something behind the scene we're not supposed to know.I still love BJ though..

 

I hope all the talented producers that didn't have the chance to work with her this time,can be in a part of album 9,if there will be a new album.

ooh stop.. Britney was never passionate about her music.. The most passionate was when she wanted me against the music as a single, thats the only time she really thought for it. Even Blackout was ordered from her label...

she has an amazing instinct about her career

She really does.   Some of the best moments of her career have been the ones where she had taken control -- BOMT video, MATM, Everytime, Blackout, etc. SLAY BRIT.

It seems that orbit believes that her team/The record company can talk doubt into Britney. Which is an interesting way of looking at this. Orbit found a positive way of going at her team and the record company which I actually think is only way things should go.

 

Imo they just need to allow the songs to have the production they call for and deserve. And I don't just mean quality but don't force the I wanna ago stutter or too much Dubstep on til it's gone. Let the song be a down tempo. Don't force fake folk EDM and Fast pitching on NTIFY, Let it be a true down tempo. Don't force the affect on Britney's ISBE vocals, let it be raw if that is how she is singing it. I love it but I know it was a late edition to the song. 

 

Even with Perfume, the Dreaming Mix was relegated to the Deluxe when Britney clearly had already talked it up and not the Single Version. And when you do want to remix songs (I think a lot of BJ are remixes and they sound like remixes) find a more true to the song path. This is what I've been saying form the beginning.

 

I think I'm beginning to think that Britney needs an EP who believes in her. Let her take 2 years working on songs with One or 2 producers and see where this goes. Britney has a lot of fears and worries. She needs someone who can believe in her. That was supposed to be Will but his album flopped and he had to spend a lot of time doing stuff in Europe so the bulk of the work was left to someone like Anthony Preston.
