It's a song reflecting back to that scary time and being thankful that you now have people who who are there for you. When she broke up with Kevin she increasingly became isolated not just from him but her family and her team. They didn't understand her and she resented it. Causing her to have no one for a time. She has come a long way and is closer to her support now. Alien is pretty much the definition of a recovery song imo. Perfume is about girl who is feeling disconnected form her Boyfriend and she sees that he's Ok engaging his Ex. So what does that mean for her relationship with him? She's insecure and worrying and thinking of tryhard ways to make sure he and everybody knows he was hers Britney pretty much forces her Boyfriends to be with her 24-7 and she puts them in her videos. She marks her territory. I get why Britney was attracted to Sia song. I do have this feeling that originally the song was from the pov of the other woman. Britney made the song fit her life. It should be easy is about a girl who, just like she is doing in Perfume, is worrying her relationship away. Why spend all this time worrying about losing him or if he will break her heart? Don't Cry is about the realization that love without trust isn't going to last. It can't.
