The music was A-1, but I'm not going to sit here and lie and say I wasn't let down by the performances (Starting off the era with the promo video for the GMA concert... dear lord, I'll never forget Man-ney :orangu:). Circus had set high expectations for me, even if she didn't dance hardcore, she was fearless. This was the first era where I've ever really seen Britney seem like she was almost nervous to perform (and with reviews on exhale like she was getting, who could blame her?) but it made me a little sad inside. When she performed, she didn't really seem like a Femme Fatale at all to me. But on the bright side, she gave us some of her best videos, and the songs were everywhere. I dare you to find someone who didn't have "I-I-I Wanna Go-o-o" or "Woah-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh" stuck in their head in 2011. And while I'm mentioning videos, I Wanna Go is always going to be remembered for that press conference. Anyway, it might not have been Prime-ney level, but it sure as hell was the most fun Britney era yet, and really, thats all it was meant to be- a fun, fearless (music wise), dance record.

i loved the music from that era. it was a lot like blackout and circus but yea a little more generic than usual. i still could feel the touch of britney, her style her old music. i think this era we got a lot less of that. bj album was wierd because it was soo different. i still loved thos. also i loveeeed all of her live performances tho. i am obsessed with those. i only disliked the song big fat bass becaue it was so generic. the perfomances slayed tho. i think what left me unsatisfied tho was that she didnt take care fo herself for many events like she went out without any makeup and looked bad. and i agree. i loveeeeed her songs and singles from that era. i was slayed so fucking hard by hold it against me. it was my favorite britney ever. yes surpassing toxic and slave.

Not my favorite album but the Instrumentals were some of the best I have ever heard and the production was perfect

Especially Drop Dead (Beautiful) & Inside Out. The production is masterpiece!

yea i still do not understand why. her promo ended abruptly. i bet she had a big plan with promoting this album but her anxiety might of pushed her to end it quick. cuz after that chatty man interview, she dissapeared. i think she felt she wasnt ready to b in public again. people can b really mean. i dont blame her. i wish we would of at least gotten at least some photoshoots or more fan letter like she used to write for us. :crying1: i guess she ended up kinda going through a rly hard time in her life. plus it was her last album and she thought it would b ok. i mean the era didnt turn out to be a total dissaster so i think there is a lot of hope for the future. she just wasnt into it this era

I think she was really into this era honesty  she was happy, healthy, her body was back, she was writing all her music!! Personally, the production of the album didn't sit well and she didn't promote much. Other than that, I think she loved BJ :)

I use my Beats :crying1:

Every instrumental on that album and Blackout is just absolute perfection :crying1:

same :werk: FF is an amazing pop album. Yes, it's basic, but it has a fun pop flavor infused with a dangerous driving theme. I don't know why people wouldn't like it :fab:

yea i feel like she has given up on it but at the beginning of the era, she was doing better than during femme fatale. she started wearing makeup again and she looked more beautiful than she had in the longest time. like the vegas annoucement where she recieved the flowers gave me 2003ney vibes. she might of burned out a bit because during her pom shows she looked a mess (the wig just killed me). she looked flawless in the documentary. and yeah the album was great, compared to her other work, wasnt her best and a bit of a mess because of all the differences and expectations but it was another great britney album tbh. i felt the godney touch in it. her personality still showed through

I actually used to stan for the FF era at the time and after it ended :orangu:

Like, it's an OK era when you look at it. It was pretty successful, great album, great videos, enjoyable tour. BUT, then there were the awful promo performances, horrible m&gs and several bad interviews. Overall, I'd take this era over FF as she's obviously in a better place in her life now and seems to be enjoying performing a lot more than she did then.
