Okay so she co wrote and adores a song about masturbation, to which this is the interlude. If you think this interlude or even the entire tour is somehow not Britney, there is a whole side of her you aparently refuse to see. Onyx Hotel was quintessential Britney: in her early twenties finally expressing a side her management wanted to supress. People are multifaceted and go through phases.

As to the commercial, lots of artists reuse footage and even your interludes so it's possible this was used commercially but I honestly have no idea. I think it's cool.
