Ok, a certain member on exhell claims that her vocals on both ITZ and Blackout were 'shit'.

Let's review.

With ITZ, yes this album isn't particularly her strongest one vocally, however, on songs such as Everytime, Shadow, Don't Hang Up and Toxic, I'd hardly call her vocals 'shit'.

Now Blackout is what I believe to be one of her strongest albums vocally, as you can tell on Gimme More, Break The Ice, Heaven On Earth, Get Naked and Get Back.

I fail to see how exactly her vocals are bad on those albums.

I love the riffs and runs she does on Blackout - it's so thrilling to kind of hear her ad lib like that!

And her vocals on Shadow and Everytime are just hauntingly beautiful - her higher register is just magic when it's used liked that

Same! Not to mention the attitude she brings on Blackout as well through her vocals!

Totally agree! Just because she's not the strongest vocalist out there doesn't mean she can't sing, and songs like Shadow and Everytime really show that :)

Honestly, I like both albums vocally.

In the Zone has some of the best vocals :mhm:

Blackout... Eh, not the best, but not her worst!!

Here is what I think about her strongest albums vocally :)

1. Oops

2. Baby

3. In the Zone

4. Blackout

5. Circus

6. Britney

7. Britney Jean (originally I thought this was her best, but then I found out about Myah :crying1:)

8. Femme Fatale

Whenever I argue Blackout has great vocals, people always look at me funny. I think it's one of her more vocally-creative and freeing eras tbh. Listening to BO demos is so worth it, Get Naked demos slay my life fer dayzzzzz

Same here.

It really does tbh! :mhm:

Just regarding Britney Jean, it's never actually been proven that it's Myah singing. Plus, it's definitely Britney singing on Brightest Morning Star and Hold On Tight, two of her best songs vocally in a long time :mhm:

My thoughts exactly! And the audio of Britney recording BTI is complete slayage. She sounds pretty much exactly the same!

I heard she was peeved about the amount of gratuitous Autotune Danja used in a few songs when they were mastered, esp Hot as Ice and Get Back. I also wish a Perfect Lover demo would surface that has her saying her orig lyrics of "tick tok, tick tok, come and fuck me while I'm hot now nooooooooow" :crying2:

Aw seriously? :crying1: They're still flawless tracks anyway, but still! :crying1:

Yes that would be flawless! :crying2:

true!! I love those vocals :mhm:

When I heard Passenger the first time I was like :o :o :o

Same with Body Ache... Both songs were amazing vocally IMO.

Then all of a sudden all these rumors surfaced and I was crushed, lol. The only thing worse is FF. I love FF and all, but the electronic sound masked her real tone :mhm:

Passenger is still one of my favourite songs tbh. Even if it's partly Myah singing, it's definitely Britney on the verses :mhm:

I never really believed the rumours tbh :mhm:

Yeah her vocals weren't great on FF, but it's still a great album :)

I think both In the Zone & Blackout feature vocals that are more natural, diverse sounding whereas when tethered to Max Martin he pushes for a specific nasally, baby coo.  Though I do love her work with Max Martin, I would love for her to explore more with Danja ("Break the Ice" is one my fave vocal performances from her).
