Pair her albums based on similarity.

Imo:

Circus - Oops (both are very bubblegum pop, fun albums to listen to)

Baby - BJ (both are not very cohesive and seems like they tried to incorporate many themes and sounds into one album)

ITZ - Blackout (both are very sexy and have amazing instrumentals and Britney had creative control over them)

FF - Britney (both are radio friendly albums with dance songs that kept up with the trends of their respected years)

Femme Fatale - Britney Jean

they're both very fresh, generic and electronic

Oops - Baby

they're both very similar and bubblegum pop

and the rest albums are very different in my opinion...

No shade though, just the truth :reductive:

I actually love Slayme Jean but it's not cohesive and they tried to incorporate many sounds into it. There is no flow whatsoever on the album tbh

All I see is lies. Nothing new from you though :reductive:  :queenflopga:

In all seriousness, you're right. But to be honest, I don't listen to the album from beginning to end so I don't even notice it tbh :orangu:

You're one to speak :reductive:

I do sometimes :mhm: It feels like you're on a bumpy road because you go from uptempo to a slow song to EDM to country to dubstep back to EDM to a ballad etc :gloria:

Hardly. You however :reductive:

:orangu:  Well Circus isn't exactly that cohesive either tbh! But yeah they probably should have re-ordered the tracklist differently so it made it cohesive. Maybe then it would have been recieved better by exhell :mhm::queenflopga:

I would just change this

Baby - BJ (both are not very cohesive and seems like they tried to incorporate many themes and sounds into one album)

ITZ -  Britney (similar sounds, despite the pop tracks of Britney, they both are more R&B driven)

FF - Blackout (dance/party albums)

Pressed I see :reductive:

I think Circus is pretty cohesive tbh. It has such a pop vive to it. Idk how to explain it :mhm:

Yes and It would've been received better if it had sold more because apparently sales affect everything over at exfail :icantt:

When BJ came out, about 85-90% of poeple on exhell liked it but as soon as they found out It flopped, they decided to hate it. Same with Perfume. When it came out, everyone praised her vocals and whatnot but as soon as it flopped, they turned their backs against it.

I find this funny because Lana Del Rey's sales are almost the same as BJ and JLo's sales are way less then BJ's. Basically, compared to many of the albums that were put out, BJ was far from a flop :queenflopga:

I'm not the one who's pressed sweetie :reductive:

I get what you mean tbh. It's definitely a solid pop album tbh :mhm:

Oh lord, where do you even begin with exhell?

And I'm fairly certain people liked the FFT when it was happening but now hate it. Bipolar mess of a forum :reductive::queenflopga:

Exactly, BJ still sold more than Lotus, Mariah's new album and JLo's new album. Didn't even know she had a new album out tbh :reductive:

Oh but you are :reductive:

I didn't have an account back in 2011 but I lurked around when the FFT was happening. Everyone LOVED it at first. They loved the prerecorded vocals, the improvement in dancing, the stage? The interludes, etc. But as soon as it ended, they began hating on it and praising TCSBS. Then came Vegas and now they're praising FFT. It's a fucking mess.

I was actually reading a thread from 2009 and they were talking about how she looked so old and how much she had aged from 2006-2009. They were using pictures where she looked like a barbie doll back In 09 and saying that she looked haggard. Now they claim that the Circus era was the best she had looked since her prime. WTF?!?!?

Posted

BOMT & OIDIA - sonically similar, vocally great

Blackout & FF - two albums helmed by an emotionally-wrought dancefloor sex robot seeking something more in life

Circus & BJ - both characterized by being a mix bag of pop gems and slower pieces

Britney & ITZ - confident, sensual, and breaking through on her own, both with a lot of input for the Spears herself

Me neither. I lurked for like 2 years before I joined :gloria:

But omg yes, and I bet when she tours next, whenever that will be, exfail will praise Vegasney. I cannot at how much of a mess it really is :gloria::orangu:

To be fair though, MOST people do think Vegasney is an improvement over FFTney :mhm:

Oh so I'm not the only one who looks through old threads :orangu:  Omg though, she looked amazing in 2009, how did she look haggard at all? :orangu:  What a mess :ipass:

Very interesting. I actually really like this pairing :mhm:

I however am flawless :reductive:

I wouldn't doubt it :4music:

Yes, there are several people who see the improvement (thank God)

You're not alone not alone not alone :queenflopga:

They were using this picture ix_candies_britney_spears__kids_v3a_sm1.

They said that she looked old, like a drug addict, etc. And I'm just like edit-8795-1403296799-5.jpg

SHE LEGIT LOOKS LIKE A BARBIE DOLL IN THAT PICTURE
