I saw Kylie live and that performance was AMAZING

Omg where did you see her babe?

I really wish I could have gone when she came to my country tbh, but I wasn't a fan back then. :crying2: She just brought Aphrodite Live and not Aphrodite Les Folies though, but I'm pretty sure that she still slayed. :mhm:

i feel like the whole vegas theme is not britney's thing. like it's not her style. they're making her into this womanly, mom person and we kno what britney is well known for and that is the depth of her performances. i am not talking hard choreography, there's always been such breathtaking, deep emotional places one would go whenever experiencing live britney. this just feels very forced and not something britney can thrive in. she needs a brand new environment to flourish in.

i'd change her hairstyle tbh. her natural short hair is super sexy and i love the way she has them now. that latest candid pic is perfect of her hair color. those blondish highlights fit her best. and keep the makeup simple but id want her wearing something really fansy and sexy like things she wore on her itz tour. lots of fishnet, belts, blouses. itz tour makeup or britney-era like makeup (she had a light natural makeup even if its like the kind she wore in candids, nothing has to b too perfect! id b satisfied with even just a touch of makeup). also she should make the red lipstick comeback. she's always worn the red lipstick soo well. i dont kno why she's ditched it now :crying1:

also i rly love ur idea of kylie. reminds me of oopsney bomtney

I agree with you hun. :tbh: Or she needs to work with some of her old choreographers who really know how she moves and how she works. I can't help but think that some moves look awkward on her because she's not comfortable with the step or that some moves she half-asses simply because no one's ever pushed her to do harder.

I want Wade back. He was a flawless choreographer. :crying1: I remember in Stages, they were filming the effects for Lonely and Primeney was obviously giving it, but Wade wanted her to hit a step harder or something. I feel like now she does a dance okay and they're all YAY

There's a lot of things from Aphrodite: Les Folies tour that Britney could have used as reference for the residency(It wouldn't be the first time Britney or her team gets "inspired" by Kylie, tbh.)
They could have used the screens to create different scenarios, play more with water, make Britney fly like Kylie in "Closer", use the dancers in a smarter way...
The show isn't bad but for being a Britney show it looks kinda cheap, tacky & boring.
If people like Jamie King, RJ Durell, Tina Landon, Steve Anderson, William Baker, The Blonds, Dolce & Gabbana or Versace would have worked in the show it would have been million times better.

Omg do you have receipts of JT's comments? I've never seen those before!  :umomg: (Also, JUSTNEY :crying1:)

Justin Knocks Britney's Movie Debut

14 November 2002 | WENN | See recent WENN news Â»

'N Sync frontman Justin Timberlake has attacked his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears' for making her debut movie Crossroads - insisting she should never have starred in it. The 21-year-old pop hunk, whose romance with the curvaceous blonde dissolved earlier this year, admits that despite his praise for Britney's involvement in the film at the time of its release, he always knew it wasn't the right movie for her. He says, "If she had a clue, she wouldn't have made that movie. I mean everybody knows that what she should have made wasPretty In Pink." Timberlake, who makes the comments in the December issue of men's magazine Details, goes on to blame the 20-year-old singer's handlers for pushing her into a project with a "sub-par" plot. He also says that some of the people who work for her are out for themselves, branding them a "soap opera/horror movie." »

Oh look, people complaining about Vegas and bitching about how bad it is. This place is no different to exhale. If you find Vegas so disappointing, feel free to stan for someone else.

we're mostly talking about her fft dancing and non-primney stuff :frenchy: but ok  :pieceofwhat:

You act like you know her personally.

'Team Britney cannot b trusted'

'She feels so caged'

I can't :orangu:

y so offended? jeez. sounds like U kno me cuz of how much u'r hating. why is everyone so serious here. and ive come to this conclusion from being a britney fan for a long time. celebrity life is really tough. theres so much going on behind the scenes. if u r careful u could catch those little things that r obvious. i actually find it very offensive that U don't think she's pressured and controled by them. how disrespectful. i mean what do u think? its all rainbows and butterflies in behind the scenes? plz. everyone always thinks celebs live in wonderland. it's way more harder than that

Oh please, Kylie is hardly the 'goddess of pop'. She's awful.

yet u find 99% of britney's stuff epic after her meltdown. she hasnt come out with flawless slayage every time (primeney yes but since breakdown, it was a bit diff story there) i mean u stan for gimme more, its cool and fierce but even briteny would agree it's not her best work or a defnition of perfection

For Vegas

They always said that one of the advantages of having a residency is that they can do stuff that they normally can't on a tour, and I love POM, but I think it needs more theatrics.

I would die tbh. :crying5:

Would you be here for something like this? What are the things you'd love to see her do, theatrics-wise, on POM?

Britney would if she was doing FULL songs. That is the only problem with her Show she is such a Legend you can't contain her Show to 90 min. Not enough time to do things like this.

I think she can though. All her tours have been 90 minutes, and there have been amazing theatrics for some of those (DWAD, Onyx, TCSBS). I don't think the fact that she's not doing full songs is a hindrance tbh. Toxic is shortened but it has one of the best production values in her show. Also, not all songs are shortened so maybe she can do the bigger spectacles for the songs which she performs full. :)

I agree. That is what I meant to say. Britney has too many Hits to put in a 90 min. Show. So for her to do it right with all the Theatrics. Britney will need to be there longer than 90 min. A 2 hr. Show would fit her nice. Still Pushing it though.

I would die for a two-hour show tbh. :crying1: She can just take longer breaks in between segments in order to stretch her energy until the end of the show.

I don't think it's possible with Vegas restrictions though. And our girl has always been doing 90-minute shows. I'm not really sure why.   :P

Las Vegas Restrictions is 90 min., however, Britney is trying to put in too many song in one Show. If she would put in less songs and add more Vegas flare than it would be back to the old Britney standards.

I can do without the S&S Interlude/Boys segment tbh. :displeased: Perfume can be squeezed somewhere else.

Riiiight like i love love love Piece of me but its VEGAS BITCH!! lol like they kinda played it safe in terms of performance level.... I want her to have a whole performance with water patterns around her with flashing colors... I wanted her to play with more holograms...LED lights like in the toxic video...Pyro technics somethin cooler but hey...She did say she likes simplicity she is a very simple person :lips1:

Yeah, I agree about the choreography. Not all of it is bad - WB looks good when executed properly. That said, there's a lot of random arm flailing throughout POM that looks awkward even when the dancers are performing it, imo.

Wade was good. There was also the guy that was shown in FTR (EDIT: ANDRE). I liked his stuff, too. Their moves really flattered Britney's dancing style and her strengths.

Britney's music is so MUCH BETTER than Kilye's  :bomt:  ... But I get your point, POM would be great if the change almost everything from costumes to production  :crying1:

"POM" Production is great it is just I agree on Costumes and Choreography.

In "POM" most of the PH stage is hidden for large props like the tree and the ball. If not for that Britney would have more room to preform on. However, that would require big screens so the audience in the back could see. Looking at what Britney wanted to convey to the audience is pieces of her life through music. She needed to use a bigger stage. Last time Britney was in Vegas she was at MGM Grand Garden Arena in 2001. 90 min. Show 16 songs. MGM has a huge stage with lifts and everything. PH had to increase its Stage size for Britney. So the Stage has a lot to do with Britney's choreography limitations as well.
