Yea it's not the normal Britney album but still it's a nice change for me. I love the slower songs on the album and I appreciate it for what it is. Also it's an album I can connect to on a personal level. Honestly this is the album I've been waiting for from her. It just sucks seeing so many fans hating it 2

And honestly I do feel like she was very involved in the making. The accusations of her not singing, etc are bullshit imo. Even if, she's got so many more writing credits and she just seems more connected to the album, compared to FF Work Bitch and Perfume my fave songs (and Passenger/Alien) 1

The album was unprofessionally rushed due to lack of time, that's why Myah sings some parts on certain songs. (several producers of the album admitted that, and even said Britney might not know about this). The production fails at some points. The vocal processing and mixing is horrible, with messy autotune and glitches. (If you've heard the acoustic version of Passenger with the original Britney and Sia vocals you know what I'm talking about). Last but not least, another proof the album had to be rushed so fast: a spelling mistake on the backside of the album: "Hold On Tite". That's so amateurish!

I have to say that I think that the producers didn't do a good job: Britney sounded amazing and the songs were great, but the producers did a bad job with the mastering of the vocals and the overall production. I still think it's an amazing album! The slow songs are the best. Alien and Perfume are so beatiful, even Passenger, despite the big controversy that song created, is one of my favourites! The album is great, but I think it could have been way better, but I don't hate it of course, after all, it's a Britney album, she turns everything she touches in gold

I don't even care, it's a normal human thing that some people like other albums more...

"Perfume" and "Chilin With You" are probably the only 2 I don't like, otherwise it's a solid release. A great buffer for Vegas. Also, contrary to what people think just because a song is up-tempo doesn't mean it can't be personal. Look at the lyrics not the bpm.

TTB rap also irritates the crap out of me even though I like the rest of the song. The album has no promo. It just doesn't give me many happy feelings I guess.

Work Bitch, Perfume, Passenger, Hold On Tight, Now That I Found You, Alien etc. It's not perfect, but it's far from a bad album 1

For BJ I have similar feelings to Circus&Britney which are at 5&6 but I love all her albums. Even with the issues some of my all time favorite Britney songs are on Britney Jean. Hold on tight, Alien, Work Bitch, Don't Cry and Perfume are songs I will forever hold in my heart. I love ISBE&TTB as well. BMS, Passenger&NTIFY are beautiful as well. TTG has some great great moments. Britney Jean is a great album. I don't care what anyone says, it's the album she has been trying to make for years. The midtemp&ballad stuff are beautiful and special. If it had the one Pop masterpiece I think people would love the album. It has different for her and special songs It's just doesn't have the pop song that people want from Britney. Bodyache just isn't a good enough song and loses steam as the song progresses. And ISBE loses Britney at the end when it already has affects on her vocals. And of course the Alien Glitch and Chillin with you is all wrong. Passenger is a good mix. That songs sounds like they wanted it to sound. Yes Britney's vocals are mixed but that is how it often is and no one has cared in the past. Exhale trolls just talked everybody into believing that Britney didn't sing the song or most of BJ. I'm sick and tired of the Myah shit. She doesn't sing that much. My God it's annoying that people keep bringing up her and how Britney doesn't sing the album. Listen to the main vocal mixes and the filter acapellas. Britney put her heart and soul into the vocals. Britney has always been like the main singer of a group. It's just how they have always done her albums. Yes Myah sounds a little like Britney compared to other backup singers and I hope she's never used again just to stop all of the annoying Myah sings for Britney Bullshit. Though I'm sure some of you will say they just decided not to credit Myah. 1

Bianca Posted June 30, 2014 #25 Report Posted June 30, 2014 the edit is not good but britney put so much effort in it you can see it in perfume, till its gone and the other midtempo songs i am so happy to get something good like britney jean. i appreachiate it very much (because i didnt like FF so much so i was glad to get some new music after this.)
