Why didn't Britney just do this?

Ok so I was thinking today about Britney and FTR and how badly she just wanted to be able to walk down the street like a regular person. She's always wanted that and I think that's part of what lead to her breakdown. Not feeling free. So then I started wondering, why didn't she just go out in disguise?  Hell if Beyonce can fake a whole damn pregnancy and the wayan brothers can turn into white chicks  and Tyra banks can be a homeless person on the street, why the fuck didn't Britney just pay some special effects people to put together a disguise for her and some fake teeth and hair. She has more than enough money for it and prior to her breakdown, she wasn't as controlled by her team so she could've paid people to do it in secret and then just skipped out on her team for an entire day.

Because disguising doesn´t fit in her definition of living like a normal person lol... she can now walk more freely and we should be happy for that.

That's not really who she is. Plus it would probably be too much work for the amount of times she used to go on outings in just a day. She used to visit Rite Aid at 3 in the morning, go back home for a couple of hours, drive around all day, then party at night.   

 

Given the stigma surrounding her at the time.. I doubt it would have been possible to pull off sufficiently.

Yeah she shouldn't have to but considering it's Britney, the only way she's not going to get hounded by people is if she disguises herself. And I don't mean doing all this for a 10 minute walk. I mean a whole day where she can go anywhere she wants without being noticed. I think that's worth it. 

And in the instagram video it's nice she can be by herself but isn't that only within her gated community?

Are you asking whats wrong with feeling normal or whats wrong with walking in a gated community? There's nothing wrong with that but it's still a limitation. Like I said, she shouldn't have to change herself to go out like a normal person and if it were up to me, she wouldn't have to but I don't make the rules. Fact is the only way shes not gonna be noticed is if she disguises herself. Obviously disguising herself isnt going to make her feel 100% like a normal person but its the closest she could get. I mean if I were a celebrity, I'd like a day of peace where no paparazzi bombard me and nobody harrasses me. I'd like a day where I could go take walk in the park or go shopping or eat at a restaurant without anyone knowing who I am. It's the closest she can get to living under the radar without hiding out in her house.

It wasn't about  dredging about the past, i'm not saying she should have lived her life differently and regretting that she didn't. We both know there really is no point in that. The point of this was that it was just a funny idea I had randomly pop into my head today and thought it would be nice to share. Its kind of like in FTR when Brit wonders why she didn't pack up and go to Kentwood when she was in that bad of a situation. I'm sure she doesn't dwell on that everyday or regret things, but it's just a passing thought. Likewise, that's all this was. sometimes when i reply to threads i speak in general terms and not directly to the op of the thread. misunderstandings happen all the time, it's hard to decipher intent on the internet, i'm sorry that we misunderstood each other and it's all good
